If you don’t have Gellux products to hand you can substitute them for others.  If you are using non-gel polish, remember to use a good base coat and to let each coat set fully before moving on to the next step.

Step One

Prep the nails and push back the cuticles. Shape and buff the natural nail bed with a grey and yellow buffer. Dust and wipe the nails with Gellux Prep + Wipe (£4.20 +vat) and then apply two thin layers of Gellux Builder Gel Rose Pink (£11.95 +vat) curing each layer for 60 seconds. Lightly buff the nails for a matt look, and use a nail brush to remove any dust.

Step Two

Mix Gellux Mini Bare Faced (£7.25 +vat) and Gellux Black Onyx (£11.95 +vat) to create a dark chocolate brown. Then using a thin liner art brush apply the polish to the little finger creating a French tip and repeat this on the middle finger and thumb. Next, using a dotting tool, create a circle in the middle of the nail on the index finger and then add it to the ring finger on the tip of the nail. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step Three

Using the thin liner art brush, apply Gellux Purely White (£11.95 +vat) to the top of the brown circle on the index finger and drag down some of the white for a dripping effect. Repeat this step on the ring finger. Then cure for 60 seconds.

Step Four

Next, using Gellux Mini Really Red (£7.25 +vat) place two red dots on top of the white of the index finger and three dots on the ring finger using a dotting tool for the berries. Then with a thin liner art brush, apply Gellux Mini Lucky Shamrock (£7.25 +vat) to create two leaves, next to the red dotted berries on both fingers. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step Five

Using a dotting tool, apply Purely White to the index fingers creating tiny dots around the Christmas Pudding design. Then apply the smallest amount to the berries and leaves to create the snow effect on them. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step Six

For that glossy finish apply Gellux Shiny Top Coat (£11.95 +vat) and cure for 60 seconds.  Wipe over the nails with Prep + Wipe to remove the sticky residue and oil the cuticles with Gellux Nail & Cuticle Oil (£4.35 +vat).
