Here’s the skinny on the schedule for the Warpaint Extra Live Stage at Look Good Live on Sunday 27th November. Watch and listen to our amazing experts to learn the tricks of the trade from the best of the best.
Sunday’s stage host is Warpaint’s own Publisher and Editorial Director, Emma Rutherford.
Emma has been a writer and sub editor for decades and now publishes Warpaint Extra as well as directing editorial for both the digital and print editions of Warpaint. She can be found backstage at the opera, front row of the runway, interviewing the makeup designers or checking out the work of the bodypainters – in fact anywhere that the story goes – and reporting back to the Warpaint readers. An educator and makeup obsessive, she is rarely seen without her signature red lip.
10:30-11:15 – Glam Make up inspired by Instagram looks with Victoria Louise
Victoria will demonstrate a colourful and glam makeup inspired by current Instagram looks.
Victoria Robinson, aka Victoria Louise MUA, is a freelance MUA and Educator teaching the next generation of Beauty Therapists & MUAs. She has been in the Industry for 24 years and has won numerous awards for her make up skills. Her work includes TV, Film & Theatre as well as working freelance on weddings for a number of years. She has a real passion for what she does.
11:30-12:15 – Celeb Glow with Chloe Crowhurst by Sean Maloney
Celebrity make-up artist to the stars, Sean Maloney, joins us at Look Good Live with Love Island favourite Chloe Crowhurst to demonstrate a celeb inspired glowy makeup look.
Celebrity make-up artist to the stars Sean Maloney is known for working with names such as Lily Allen, Chelsee Healey, Katie Mcglyn, Katie Salmon, Holly Hagen, Kendall Rae Knight, Hayley Hughes, Emma Woodhams, Chloe Crowhurst, Amy Childs, Amy Willerton, Jasmine Walia, Jess Impiazzi, Chloe Khan, Jessica Cunningham, Sian Marie, Taylor Ward and Zara Holland, as well as Pretty Little Thing, Boohoo, InTheStyle, Channel 4, BBC, ITV, Netflix, MTV, and many more. He has his own make up academy, product line and has toured the UK and Australia with exclusive masterclasses
12:30-13:15 – PANEL DISCUSSION: Creativity
Hosted by Warpaint’s Emma Rutherford, the panel will talk about their creativity and the inspiration behind it.
The panel includes, James Mac, Jo Peters and Glamour Gran Ann.
13:30-14:15 – Creative Escape by James Mac
Glow Up alumnus James Mac will demonstrate a fabulous fantasy/cyber focused look. He will be happy to answer questions during his demo.
James Mac is a freelance beauty-glamour makeup/drag artist and runner up on BBC’s Glow Up series 2. James’ focus is on hyper creative looks, fashion, editorial and drag inspired makeup.
14:30-15:15 – Airbrush Glam Beauty Look by Michelle Court
Michelle will be showcasing the art of airbrushing techniques; how to create flawless foundation, sculpted cheeks, the perfect blush & contour around the face & show stopping eye make-up… all using the Airbrush. Come and watch the magic evolve before your eyes!
As a professional MUA Michelle Court has travelled around the world working with models and actors. From roof top shoots in New York to The Make-Up Show in Berlin via shooting and staying on super yachts in Ibiza, fashion shoots in Amsterdam, Sicily and Lake Como, commercials in Lisbon, Bodrum, Bordeaux and Chamonix… the list goes on. Michelle has seen and worked on some beautiful locations! She has been in the industry for almost 20 years and has experience of everything from fashion shows, commercials, magazines, runway, editorial, beauty shoots and celebrity work.
15:30-16:15 – Bodypainting Demonstration by Cat Finlayson
Cat will be finishing the bodypaint she has been working on during the day on the Warpaint stand and talking about her inspirations and techniques, as well as a Q&A.
Cat discovered face painting whilst teaching in zoos. After starting her own face art business in 2000, she won UK Professional Face Painter of the Year and was 5th in the World, and then branched out into bodypainting, becoming one of the UK’s first full-time residential face painters. Over the last few years she has also added Cricut Ambassador & Artisan to her impressive list of job titles, as she finds the machine frees her creativity and is involved in most aspects of her body art. She placed 10th at this year’s World Body Paint World Championships, in the Brush and Sponge Paint category, painting on model Izabela Kowalewska.
