Industry News

Clean towels, robes, hot water, and continual airflow through air conditioning systems are all becoming increasingly expensive.  As a result, the beauty industry is being hit hard by the energy crisis and The British Beauty Council would like as many business owners to fill out a survey.  It is set to be instrumental in ensuring the beauty industry receives the support it needs when the initial Energy Relief Scheme ends on 31 March 2023.

The government is collecting data about the rising cost of gas and electricity. Put together by The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the 10-15 minute survey asks business owners to share details about their energy usage over the last 12 months, cost mitigation and the increase in the price of their bills.
