Science of Skin Rescue No. One cream (£18.99) was developed for problem skin, an everyday moisturiser that is scientifically proven to improve the appearance of marks and scars caused by acne. Containing a naturally active green tea extract, EGCG, it works at a cellular level to do this in two different ways; firstly, by reducing the redness and secondly, by reducing the thickness. Together with other natural ingredients including anti-inflammatory magnolia bark, super moisturising microalgae and anti-oxidant vitamin E, this gentle but effective cream helps to give a calmer, clearer looking complexion day after day. Available from scienceofskin.
New from Romilly Wilde is the Sculpting Silver Facial Roller (£60). This compact silver ‘gem’ has multiple angled spherical heads that read the contours of the face perfectly, sculpting the jaw line, brow, forehead as well as the delicate eye orbital area to reduce puffiness. The dinky size and weight make it easy to work with and feels very natural to use, fitting easily in your hand. The facial roller can be stored in the fridge for an extra ‘cool boost’ to reduce inflammation and puffiness for a brighter and more radiant complexion. Available now from romillywilde.

The Hair and Beauty Charity are still working to support those that need their help. They had over £250,000 donated from professional beauty expert, Caroline Hirons and the Beauty Backed campaign. They have funds available for those people who do need their help; ask them if you need support.
They are a small charity and have to prioritise assistance to those who need it most urgently. Priority will be given to households where only one adult (working within the industry) provides the only income to the household (e.g. if you live with your partner who will still receive an employed wage, priority will be given to single parent families whose only income is dependent on their hair/beauty industry wage). Visit their website for more information and to make an application.
