Chase Aston is an International Make Up Artist for Editorial, Film, TV, Celebrity & Red Carpet and is Kate Beckinsale’s personal MUA.
Having always been obsessed with art, fashion & beauty from a very early age and always reading his sisters Vogue and Cosmopolitan magazines, Chase knew from the age of 15 that he wanted to be a part of the industry. As soon as he could, he contacted all the London Hair & Make Up agencies that were around at the time, and asked to assist any of their artists, especially the ones whose work he most admired. Over time he assisted, watched, learned and absorbed as much knowledge as possible, and in his free time, would do make up tests with young photo assistants (some who are today’s top leading photographers), stylists and other crazy, like-minded creatives.
After a few years, he became an independent freelancer finding himself an agent, and spent the next few years building up his skills and craft, before leaving London to go start his international career, first locating to Milan, then Paris and finally New York where he lived and worked full time. Whilst in New York his editorial career flourished and he worked with the iconic supermodels, shooting covers and fashion/beauty stories for Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and numerous global glossies, and over his 35-year career he has worked on over 300 magazine covers.
With his career flourishing in New York and Europe, he became a global makeup spokesperson for The Body Shop, and was a Global Beauty Ambassador with them for 17 years. During this time he learnt about product development, global strategy and how different countries around the world develop and promote products for diverse and ethnic markets which elevated his knowledge and skills above and beyond those of a standard makeup artist.
After spending time shooting beauty campaigns, commercials, music videos, fashion shows and numerous celebrities, iconic pop bands and artistes, editorials and magazine covers, Chase decided that he wanted to challenge himself further as an MUA, and to spread his wings wider in the industry, by branching out to working in film, motion pictures and TV. So for the last seven years he has worked on some amazing film & TV projects as well as still working on selected editorial, advertising and beauty campaign projects.

Guerlain Maxi Lash Enfer D’cils So Volume Intense Deep Black Mascara

This universal flattering Nude/pink lip liner is one of my absolute go too shades and products, it is becoming as Iconic as MAC Spice LipLiner, so natural, it suits all skin tones, wear alone buffed on the lip, under lip stick or paired with a sheer lip gloss…I have literally used this lipliner in 5 of my films, it’s that good!!!

This fantastic creme based, colour correction SFP50 is a fusion of make-up and skincare. I very rarely use foundation on any of my film projects, I just use this amazing colour correcting cream as a primer, skincare, foundation all in one. If you want to team with foundation, then this amazing product works perfectly as a skin prep/primer….use alone, under make up or teamed with an anti-shine mattifying gel, so that your skin looks real and not caked or mask like.
Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Freeze
