If you don’t have Gellux products to hand you can substitute them for others. If you are using non-gel polish, remember to use a good base coat and to let each coat set fully before moving on to the next step.
Prepare the nails by filing to shape, pushing back the cuticle and buffing the nail plate. Cleanse nails with Gellux Prep + Wipe (£7.15 +vat), apply Gellux Fast Bond (£5.89 +vat) followed by one coat of Gellux Builder Gel in Light Pink (£11.95 +vat) curing between each layer. Using a fine liner and Gellux Purely White (£11.95 +vat), paint a cuticle cuff at the bottom of the nail. Cure for 60 seconds and paint a second coat.
Next start to paint the ghost’s head using Purely White.
Fill in the head and paint the arm and bump in the body again using Purely White and cure for 60 seconds.
Using a dotting tool and Gellux Black Onyx (£11.95+ vat), dot the ghost’s facial features.
Repeat steps two, three and four across all nails and cure for 60 seconds. Finish the design by painting two coats of Gellux Super Shiny Top Coat (£11.95 +vat), and cure for 60 seconds between each layer. Once cured, wipe over the nails with Prep + Wipe (£7.15 +vat) and oil the cuticles with Gellux Nail & Cuticle Oil (£4.35 +vat).
Salon System Gellux is available from wholesalers nationwide.
