Celebrating 135 years this week, beauty company Avon is announcing a number of enhancements to its relationship selling model, including an upgraded digital platform enabling Representatives to sell online and a new compensation model. Saying goodbye to the days of ‘ding dong’ selling, online sales at Avon are now at 2.7 times their pre-pandemic levels.
In celebration of the birthday, Avon has enlisted British illustrator, Bett Norris, to reimagine a series of its iconic posters. Taking a selection of advertising assets from Avon’s illustrious archive, Bett has given the visuals a modern twist, reimaging the protagonists and products through a 2021 lens

Internationally renowned talent agency Storm Management and global cosmetics brand Rimmel London have teamed up with TikTok for a UK-wide campaign to find the next undiscovered fashion and beauty creator.
Launched on 7 September with a Branded Hashtag Challenge, the #DiscoverMe campaign aims to revolutionise how up and coming talent is discovered in the UK.
The campaign invites creators to participate in a range of hashtag challenges on TikTok showing their unique talent and creative flair against different themes – including showcasing your personal style, lifestyle and look with an exclusive Rimmel London branded effect. Entrants will then be selected, judged by industry experts, for a chance to join Storm Management’s digital division ‘Storm Vision’, while also securing a 12-month contract with Rimmel London.

Faith In Nature are supporting their long-term partnership with In Kind Direct this September. From the brand that is kind to your skin, planet (and pocket!) Faith In Nature has donated products to the In Kind Direct programme since July 2014. The foundation, founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1996, distributes goods to those in need. To date they have distributed £275 million worth of goods of which £145,000 has come from Faith in Nature’s donations.
This September Faith in Nature are taking this a step further with their ‘Buy One Give One’ promotion, with the aim to ensure everyone has access to essentials in the fight against hygiene poverty. To date, Faith in Nature has sent products to 1,034 charitable organisations across the country as a result of their donations. However, with their ‘Buy One Give One’ programme it means that charities that are still facing the impacts of the pandemic will have more support from Faith in Nature. For every 400ml Body Wash sold Faith in Nature will donate one to In Kind Direct, and for every 5litre Body Wash sold, Faith In Nature will donate five 400ml Body Washes.
Leading aesthetic company Pureskin have announced Denise van Outen as their new celebrity ambassador for their popular contouring device ReSculpt. The treatment builds muscles and burns fat, and Denise has had great success with the device following an injury that prevented her from working out as usual.
