We are thrilled to announce the winner of our Spring ‘The Pros Challenge’ our first challenge of 2021.
Entrants were asked to create a piece of original work using Spring as the theme. Taking inspiration from the new life that’s beginning to grow and show itself in our gardens, parks and open spaces.
The prize is packed with goodies from a diverse collection of UK pro makeup artists, who run their own brands alongside their successful careers. From the worlds of film, TV, theatre, editorial and red carpet come products by Louise Young, Tanya Noor, Julia Townend and Nadira V Persaud
Valued at over £150 the prize is a set of short handled eye and brow brushes from Louise Young brushes, a copy of Timeless: A Century of Iconic Looks by Louise Young and Loulia Sheppard; a Medium Spotty bag from Get-Set-Go Bags; the Nutcracker set of glitters from JT Makeup Studio; and a copy of Press Here! Face Workouts for Beginners by Nadira V Persaud.
We had the highest volume of entrants for any of these challenges, so thank you to everyone who took part. The quality of entries was high and we enjoyed the judging.
Our winner is madeleinehewittmakeup with her beautiful floral design. We loved all of this, and particularly the cheeks.
Three student entrants are highly commended for their excellent quality of work:

And katiemarie_mua – we loved the butterflies and the leaves climbing up from her chest
Also worthy of mention are rachelmakesartandwigs for her beautiful and really different interpretation of the brief
And yasmin_mcguinness_mua – we loved the way she presented her eyes – also a student but the work was on par with professional entries.
