Celeb MUA Gary Cockerill has launched the Make Up Intelligence range which has become a new favourite.  The Autumn collection includes beautiful autumn shades, such as Lustre Liquid Lipstick & Lip Liner sets (£26) in Very Berry and Brick Red; both perfect shades for festive fun.  The star product is Cover, Conceal and Correct foundation (£42) which is a revolutionary formula with colour correctors that comes in eight shades.  The foundation has a beautiful jewel shaped bottle and there is even a concealer in the top of the bottle.

We particularly love the Autumn Glow Eyeshadow Palette & Dual Eyeliner (£38) which holds 15 shades in gold, amber, orange and crimson, soft chocolatey browns, brick and berry red shades in matte earthy tones, rustic shimmer and glimmer hues, and metallic foil tints for the eyes to pop.  A double ended eyeliner is added to compliment all shadows.  One half of the eyeliner is green and the other half plum to add depth and drama around the lashes and waterline.  Available from makeupintelligencegc and qvc.

Industry News

While the country is in another national lockdown and close contact beauty services have had to close, the Hair and Beauty Charity are still working to support those that need their help.  They have had just over £250,000 donated recently from professional beauty expert, Caroline Hirons and the Beauty Backed campaign.  They are also continuing to fundraise with the charity raffle (see here), Christmas cards, and Give-A-Gift campaign.  They have funds available for those people who do need their help; ask them if you need support.

They are a small charity and have to prioritise assistance to those who need it most urgently.  Priority will be given to households where only one adult (working within the industry) provides the only income to the household (e.g. if you live with your partner who will still receive an ‘employed wage’, priority will be given to single parent families whose only income is dependent on their hair/beauty industry wage).  Visit their website for more information and to make an application.
