Fudge Professional has launched its second social media miniseries called ‘In Near the Chair’ (with a few COVID-Friendly twists) hosted by Fudge Professional Global Brand Ambassador, Jonathan Andrew. Fudge Professional created the series to explore the relationship between a hairdresser and their client. It is all about putting famous faces in the hot seat and asking the questions the public wants to know the answers to. The first episode was with Jamie Laing and the latest features TOWIE star Pete Wicks. The 20 minute filmed interview was shot in COVID-secure way that meant not only did the guys don full PPE, but Pete was encouraged to style his own hair using Fudge Professional products. The interview is brilliant viewing with lots of focus on Pete’s serial dating love life, a nod to his new cowboy knee high boots, his number one fan (spoiler alert…his mum), how his long hair was a fingers up to those telling him his was receding, and that social media haters don’t phase him one bit. As parts of the country enter another national lockdown and close contact beauty services have to close, the Hair and Beauty Charity are still working to support those that need their help. They have had just over £250,000 donated recently from professional beauty expert, Caroline Hirons and the Beauty Backed campaign. They are also continuing to fundraise with the charity raffle (see here), Christmas cards, and Give-A-Gift campaign. They have funds available for those people who do need their help; ask them if you need support.
They are a small charity and have to prioritise assistance to those who need it most urgently. Priority will be given to households where only one adult (working within the industry) provides the only income to the household (e.g. if you live with your partner who will still receive an ‘employed wage’, priority will be given to single parent families whose only income is dependent on their hair/beauty industry wage). Visit their website for more information and to make an application.
