Barry M new Instant Blur Body Foundation (£9.99) is the ultimate solution to flawless, perfected skin.  With vitamin E and aloe vera to hydrate skin and protect against pollution, the luxurious formula provides a subtle bronze glow.  Ideal for minimising the appearance of imperfections, revealing a radiant, even skin tone.  Available in 5 skin tones from barrym.

Iconic London have launched Lustre Lip Oil (£21).  Combining the high shine of a gloss and the moisture of a lip balm, Lustre Lip Oil provides a gorgeous glazed finish for a fresh and instantly fuller-looking pout.  Formulated with a luxurious combination of vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, which hydrates and nourishes the lips, leaving them feeling ultra-soft and conditioned.  The non-sticky vegan formula is comfortable and easy to wear while the unique roller applicator provides a generous and even layer of product which glides over the lips to create a flawless finish.  Available in five flattering and scented shades, it can be used alone or over the top of liner or lipstick.  Available from iconiclondon.

Skingredients launched in the UK this week – a customisable capsule skincare collection formulated with active ingredients that are clinically-proven to nourish, protect and maintain the skin. The range has four core products:

Skingredients PreProbiotic Cleanser (£24) with prebiotics, probiotics and polyhydroxy acid (PHA) to cleanse, hydrate and gently exfoliate.  The lightweight lotion removes all make up (including mascara) while exfoliating for a brighter complexion.  It can also be left on for a soothing, hydrating mask.  Skingredients Skin Veg Pre-Serum (£39) the hero product – an oil-free, lightweight pre-serum forumulated with hyaluronic acid, PHA and pro-collagen peptide and veggie goodness.  It is a penetrant enhancer, so any products applied on top will work even harder.  Great for MUAs as it gives a dewy priming effect under makeup, and can be used in lieu of eye cream as well.  Skingredients Skin Protein (£39) – an anti-ageing serum with an active formula of vitamins A, C and E alongside antioxidants and powerful peptides.  Effective at tackling a wide range of skin concerns including dullness, lines and wrinkles, lax skin, dark circles and blackheads.  The creamy serum is perfect for those who are looking to smoothen, brighten and reduce pigmentation and redness – without the risk of irritation associated with stronger ‘standard’ Vitamin A Retinols.  Suitable and soft enough for daily use.   Skingredients Skin Shield SPF 50 +++ (£39) – a lightweight broad-spectrum mineral SPF suitable for daily use to shield the skin against pollution, UVA, UVB and blue light exposure. It contains hydrating ingredients such as niacinamide, vitamin E and allantoin that give the skin an extra boost of antioxidants.  It is also the non-comedogenic, oil-free and water-resistant and non-greasy.  Available from skingredients.

R+Co have released Zig Zag Root Teasing Texture Spray (£30), the final addition to the Ashley Streicher X R+Co collaboration.  This ightly tinted formula brings a bolt of energy to strands, adding durable grit and hold at the roots for an all-day ample look.  It blends into any hair colour for a dusty-free, flexible texture, thanks to resins and a polymer complex that creates an invisible, web-like effect between the hair fibres.  Formulated with bamboo stem extract, styling resins, mineral pigment and zeolite.  Available from beautyrebelstore.

Algenist’s new Blue Algae Vitamin C Dark Spot Correcting Peel (£80) is a resurfacing and exfoliating peel that visibly reduces the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation with no downtime.  This at-home peel is the ultimate powerhouse for brightened, perfected looking skin and can be used on even the most sensitive skin, giving visible results in just 10 days.  Formulated with exclusive Blue Algae Vitamin C: 100% pure L-Ascorbic Acid from Spirulina provides powerful brightening, spot-diminishing and antioxidant benefits; Alguronic acid improves the look of wrinkles, promoting hydrating and fighting environmental assaults that cause signs of ageing while AHAs, BHAs and PHAs exfoliate to reduce lines, pores, pigmentation irregularities and uneven texture.  Safe to use on all skin tones and to address multiple types and pathways of discoloration.  Alongside AHA, BHA and PHA, it contains Tranexamic Acid, most commonly used in professional treatments, and Azelaic Acid, notably safe and beneficial in combination with vitamin C for treating discoloration in skin of colour.  Vegan friendly, renewable, naturally-sourced and sustainably produced.   Launching 15th September exclusive to cultbeauty.

Barry M has launched Air Breathable Nail Paint (£3.99).  The advanced formulation allows water vapour and oxygen to pass through nail paint, so nails can breathe easy and stay hydrated whilst the mani stays on point. Nails will be stronger and healthier using this innovative formula which, of course, also boasts Barry M’s famous high shine, anti-chip finish.  Available now in six shades, including a top coat, from barrym and coming soon to Sainburys and Argos.

Tracie Giles London, founded in 2001 by mother and daughter duo Tracie and Charlotte, was the UK’s first high street clinic dedicated to the art of Permanent Makeup, before launching the My Face Project in 2018, combining specialist Permanent Makeup with advanced aesthetic treatments to provide bespoke transformative results.  They have now launched Crème Rescue Serum (£38) an innovative, high-performance skin serum with clinically-proven, active ingredients that soothe and repair the skin.  Although originally designed for use after aesthetic treatments, this serum is perfect for use in a daily skincare routine. It helps to protect against environmental damage and ageing, improve skin barrier function and luminosity, soothe irritated and compromised skin, as well as reducing redness and improving skin tone by 99% after 28 days of use.  Available from cremerescue.

Saturday 12th September is mindfulness day.  There’s no reason this shouldn’t extend to your beauty regime; be conscientious about your cleanse.  Syrene Aquagel Oil to Foam Cleanser (£46) is an oil with seaweed extract that transforms to a gentle foam when activated with water, clearing pores without stripping moisture.  The soothing scent is reminiscent of a sea breeze.   You can also practice portion control – there’s no benefit to using excess product as this won’t be absorbed by the skin.  Half a teaspoon of Syrene Aquagel Moisture Light Lotion (£58) is enough to cover the face and neck.  A lightweight silky lotion glides over the skin and absorbs instantly, supporting hydration and balance and protecting from environmental aggressors all day.  Contains Manuka honey, squalene and marine collagen.   Both available exclusively from harveynichols.

Grab a shot of mega hydration from any of Soap & Glory’s four Body Butters (£10 each) to re-hydrate dried skin, lock in moisture and smell great.  Choose from The Righteous Butter packed with aloe vera and shea butter and scented with the original pink rose and bergamot fragrance; No Woman No Dry with coconut oil, cocoa butter, passion fruit and aloe extracts and scented with melon and gardenia; Smoothie Star Body Buttercream featuring pistachio oil, almond oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil and fragranced with almond and vanilla or Sugar Crush Body Buttercream loaded with shea and cocoa butter, almond and coconut oil and fragranced with lime and brown sugar.  Available exclusively from boots.
