The Attracta Beauty Awards were founded by the highly-respected Make-Up Artist Attracta Courtney in 2014 and is a refreshingly genuine celebration of products that truly merit commendation. As the only awards conducted by an internationally renowned make-up artist they are a first within the industry.
They began from her desire to share professional insider knowledge and start a conversation around what makes the best beauty products in the industry. Each year she invites a panel of professional artists and industry experts to join her to judge all the product entries and put them through their paces.
International make-up artists Gina Kane, Kim Brown, Florrie White, Sara Raeburn and Valeria Ferreira, international hair stylists Tracie Cant, Gow Tanaka and Ben Cooke, nail artist Sabrina Gayle, aesthetic doctor Dr Sophie Shotter and Senior Beauty Editor Theresa Yee made up the 2020 panel.
These twelve professional artists of the beauty world have a global influence and over a century of combined experience across leading fashion magazines and ground-breaking catwalk shows. Each judge’s work is steeped in iconography and their clients span the most recognised faces on the planet including Victoria Beckham, Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Taron Egerton, Dua Lipa and Cara Delevingne.

The awards usually take place at a fabulous location, and this year they were due to take place in a beautiful gallery, with the theme centred around love and kindess. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 this had to be cancelled and the awards went digital for the first time in their six-year history.
