US brand Make Up First have created an all-natural, organic line of products for the consumer and artist community.  They include slim-line palettes created in conjunction with French brand MaqPro, the range is called First by Makeup First (MAQPRO): a primary colour palette ($25) a three corrector palettes ($35) and lip and cheek palettes ($48) as well as six foundation palettes ($65) which contain six different shades.  These are organic and have a beeswax base.

They also have a Makeup Sanitizer Mist ($16) a cosmetic sanitiser that is natural and organic.  The quick-drying formula cleans and disinfects all powder and cream-based cosmetics as well as tools, palettes and spatulas.  Contains 70% organic ethyl alcohol with witch hazel, rose water, aloe vera and vanilla extract.  It can also be used on the face and hands.  Organic, vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-, nut- and artificial-fragrance free.

The Hair & Makeup Branch of Bectu with the Black Members Sub-Committee are launching Zoom On Up.   This aims to connect BAME talent with established Hair and Makeup Designers & Supervisors through 1-2-1 meetings on Zoom.  It is open to participants from any level, who are BAME talent (hair and make-up professionals), and would benefit from networking with a Hair and Makeup Designer or Supervisor of Bectu.

They need Hair and Makeup Designers and Supervisors of Bectu, from all walks of life to get involved with Zoom On Up.  It is an unprecedented opportunity to meet BAME talent.  The first sessions are ‪on Thursday 30th, ‪Friday 31st & ‪Saturday 1st August at 11am.  If you’d like to be involved, please email bectuhmbranch@gmail.com with “Zoom on Up” as the subject, and stating whether you’re a BAME talent or a Designer/Supervisor of Bectu with your membership number.

 

Plastic Free July is the month dedicated to those who want to make an active change to plastic pollution.  It’s a global movement that encourages people to be part of the solution. Fudge Professional is playing its part in #SAVINGPLANETF; the brand relaunched its styling range earlier this year and made the decision to implement its Plastic Promise:
