Professional Makeup Artist to the stars, Donna Clitheroe, is renowned for her signature red lip which the whole of Donna May London brand has been built around.
Donna is a graduate from the prestigious London College of Fashion and is now Head of Makeup at ITV for award winning shows such as Loose Women and Lorraine. She recently launched a range of 100% natural hair and skin beauty bars.
We caught up with her to find out what are the products she can’t live without in her makeup kit.
My DML Lay Flat Makeup Bag (£20) – I honestly don’t know how I coped before… it puts an end to rummaging around to find a product – at just one pull of the drawstring reveals products inside in one go and the flat lay protects surfaces too!
Retinol Cream – I am currently trying out the Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line Erasing Night Serum (£72) and they are great. Otherwise its La Roche Posay Redermic Retinol Cream (£32). I’ve really noticed in the reduction of the lines around my eyes using retinol.
Because I currently have a tan, I love my Lumene Invisible Beauty Serum Foundation (£27) – It’s so subtle, but so transforming!
I can’t go anywhere without Blush on, it’s my desert Island ..I’ve used Stila’s Convertible Colour Cream Blush in Petunia (£18) for years, it’s a shocking bright coral colour, but once on the cheeks looks so pretty.
And of course my red lippy, Bobbi Brown Art Stick (£22.50) in either Harlow Red or Sunset Orange – they are like super chunky pencils that don’t budge once on!
