A recent study by Avon scientists discovered CBD’s direct link to anti-ageing, a first in the industry. While it’s long been believed that that CBD might have age-defying properties, there has been limited scientific evidence to prove how it is beneficial in anti-ageing to date. Avon scientists have discovered that CBD can boost levels of HSPs (Heat Shock Proteins, a type of molecular chaperone which protects skin from stress) in skin cells indicating that, when included in topical skincare, CBD can work as an anti-ageing ingredient. This is the first time anyone has been able to find the missing link between CBD and its anti-ageing efficacy.

You may not be aware of the blue beauty movement – it questions what we wash down our drains and what washes up on our shores. Blue beauty supports ocean conservation by using reef safe ingredients and moving towards zero-waste, virtually plastic free packaging.
Present in most sheer sunscreens are oxybenzone and octinoxate, which are shown not only to cause biochemical or cellular level changes and endocrine disruption in humans, but are responsible for killing 10% of the world’s coral reefs, leading to bleaching, DNA damage and death of the corals. With no added oxybenzone or octinoxate, Soleil Toujours Sunscreens are safe not only for our bodies but for our environment.
Soleil Toujours have developed sustainable product packaging using bio-plastic tubes made from sugarcane, with the goal of having 100% sustainable packaging this year. New technology processes sugarcane, creating a renewable plastic that is not derived from petroleum, a fossil fuel.
