Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has partnered with London-based, award-winning multi-media artist Morag Myerscough to create a bold, expressive limited-edition collection.   Bringing Morag’s signature vibrancy and smile-provoking flair, each piece in the collection comes wrapped in one of her signature geometric prints.  The vibrant packaging features limited-edition artwork, designed exclusively for Bobbi Brown.

Play.Dream.Love Eye Palette (£36.50) nine shades in browns and gold through coral to pink and red.  Highlighting Powder (£36) in Golden Rose GlowCrushed Lip Colour (£24.50) in Peach Passion and Rosy Dream.  Available now, exclusive to Selfridges and Brown Thomas, then released nationwide on 5th March 2020.


Barry M have expanded their Wildlife Collection with two more 9-shade eyeshadow palettes (£7.99 each).   In conjunction with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, they aim to help fund and raise awareness for vital conservation work, with at least 20% of profits being donated to the fund.  Their newest palettes in the Wildlife collection feature the Pangolin, the world’s most trafficked mammal and the Rhino, at risk of extinction within ten years due to poaching.  Available now at barrym and in Superdrug stores nationwide.  Launching 12th February in larger Boots stores.

Congratulations to Vivian Baker, Kazu Hiro and Anne Morgan who won the award for Make Up and Hair at the 2020 EE British Academy Film awards for their incredible work on Bombshell.  The film, starring Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron, is a comedy-drama based upon the accounts of several women at Fox News who set about to expose CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment.

Spanish makeup brand 3INA (pronounced Mee-Na) had an impressive 2019, doubling its turnover as well as its doors during the year with 90 points of sale in 18 countries and 35 online platforms.  Created in 2016 with a view to disrupt the “one size fits all” definition of beauty, the high-quality, cruelty-free products are sold at an affordable price.  The brand has its sights set on becoming 100% vegan and to update the packaging based on linking colours and shade numbers across the entire product range.   If you’ve not tried the brand yet, perhaps you should!


Avon UK have announced a new partnership with cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better.  The charity is the only national one dedicated to improving the physical and emotional wellbeing of people undergoing treatment for cancer.  Avon will donate products for wellbeing workshops and will support the sessions through volunteer opportunities for their representatives and employees.  Later in 2020 Avon and Look Good Feel Better will launch an initiative to raise funds.  Since 1992 Avon has raised more than £20million in the UK for breast cancer support.
