Swiss pharma brand MGC Derma have launched a new skin care collection, with Aqoil at the centre of the formulation. This is a propriety blend, incorporating CBD, and allowing oil and water to mix and hydrate the skin. Huda, the beauty brand of Instagram sensation Huda Kattan, has landed a deal with Boots. Previously customers in the UK could only get the brand in Harvey Nicholls. From 28 January the whole range is available from boots.com and from April a selection of popular lines will be available in 80 stores. To celebrate the launch Boots is giving away a free lipstick (Demi Matte Lip in Dayslayer) to customers who buy two or more Huda Beauty items online, while stocks last.
Hermès have announced that they are to launch a 24 shade collection of lipsticks in both matte and satin textures. The colours are based on their silk scarf collection the texture was inspired by their iconic Birkin Bag. A custom blend scent has also been created for them. They will also be refillable; being housed in a metal rather than plastic casing. The lipstick will retail at around £52 with a refill costing £33. They are sent to launch in March with a new cosmetic product set to be release at six-month intervals.
Earlier this month Kat Von D announced to her 7.3million instagram followers that she would be leaving KatVonD Beauty, the beauty brand she founded in 2008. She said she would be turning it over to Kendo, her business partners of 12 years. The brand will also be rebranded as KvD Vegan Beauty.
