lookfantastic advent calendar

Lookfantastic

Looking for a bit of variety in your advent calendar this year?  Luxury beauty retailer lookfantastic has curated a selection of 25 products to get you having a very merry little Christmas indeed.  Not limiting itself to skincare and makeup, lookfantastic has included haircare and beauty tools as well.  Valued at a whopping £420, this calendar has an RRP of £79 – and lookfantastic Beauty Box subscribers get another £15 off.  Boasting 25 treats, this calendar can even be re-used as a vanity unit for storage – which you might need once you fall in love with the products it contains.  From OSKIA’s cult favourite Renaissance Cleansing Gel to Philip Kingsley’s famous Elasticizer and a limited-edition version of Omorovicza’s much-loved Queen of Hungary Mist, there are more than a few big names in this one.  This advent calendar launched on lookfantastic on 1st October.
Cult Beauty advent calendar

Cult Beauty

Talking of cult favourites, Cult Beauty’s very first advent calendar is launching this year, and we were very excited indeed to see what they’d included.  This colourful calendar will look great over the fireplace or on a bedside table – ready to be opened first thing in the morning.  Every day reveals a new treat, from Iconic London’s party-perfect Illuminator to Drunk Elephant’s T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum to give your overworked skin the care it needs.  On Christmas morning, you’ll wake up to an extra special surprise: door number 25 contains not one but ten bestselling products, as well as a little something so you can treat yourself to anything Santa missed.  If that isn’t enough to get you excited, how about the fact that one advent calendar is home to a pretty amazing golden ticket – which entitles the lucky recipient to a £1000 Cult Beauty spree.  The Cult Beauty advent calendar will retail for £195 on the site, and you can sign up for the waitlist here.

L'Occitane advent calendar

L’Occitane

Unusually, L’Occitane is launching not one but two advent calendars.  Did you know that, in the 1950s, almond trees had disappeared from Provence?  In 2000, L’Occitane decided to reintroduce the almond tree to the region, and the classic advent calendar this year tells the story of how the trees flourished.  Charming illustrations adorn the calendar, and the 24 doors reveal a selection of irresistible travel-sized treats including an Almond Milk Concentrate to nourish your whole body and a variety of deliciously-scented hand creams that are perfect for keeping in every bag, car door and bedside drawer you own.  If you’re looking for a bit more of a splurge, check out their luxury advent calendar, whose innovative design twists to reveal 24 delightful gifts, including silky Almond Shower Oil and the indulgent Immortelle Reset Serum.  The luxury iteration tells the story of the tree of dreams, and each drawer reveals a tip on how to nurture nature.  May your skin be merry and brigh.  L’Occitane’s Classic Beauty Advent Calendar retails for £49, while the Luxury Beauty Advent Calendar retails for £79.  Both are already available to buy on the L’Occitane website.
