Clarins have just launched Joli Blush (£27) the first of their blushes to be enriched with plant oils.  Ultra-pigmented and long-wearing, it allows skin to breathe due to the super-light texture.  Hazelnut oil nourishes and comforts the skin, alongside the Clarins Anti-Pollution Complex.  Available in eight shades and packaged with a mirror and synthetic hair brush.  Available from clarins and counters nationwide.

 

Diego dalla Palma’s Fall Winter Collection was inspired by the warm hues, textures and patterns from the 70s.  The range includes:  Warm Tones Eyeshadow Palette (£24.50) four shades in a variety of finishes; opaque, satin and pearly, allowing you to create both natural and intense looks.  Stay On Me Eyeliner in 55 (£14.50) a deep maroon pencil that glides across the eye to create depth and definition with a creamy texture and long lasting pigments.  Long Wearing Eyeshadow & Light (£15.50) a creamy stick formula shadow in a universally flattering sparkling pink shade with an intense luminous pearly finish.

Kat Von D Beauty have introduced True Portrait Foundation (£28), the brand’s first ever medium coverage foundation.  This fresh, unique formula found its match with Kat Von D Beauty fan, singer, poet and fellow annual love – Jhené Aiko as the global campaign face.  Jhené was the perfect fit for Kat Von D Beauty, having worked in a PETA campaign, and aligning with the brand ethos being an avid animal lover, vegan advocate and an existing Kat Von D Beauty user.   True Portrait Foundation sets to a long-wear, airy matte finish and is available in 40 vegan shades.   Available from debenhams and in selected Debenhams stores.

Dr. Hauschka has launched a new product to help care for blemish prone skin. The Coverstick (£19) contains a blend of essential natural ingredients to balance and calm the skin, including tapioca starch to mattify skin reducing the appearance of redness and calendula, an anti-inflammatory to soothe and regenerate skin.  Available in two shades, this sits within a newly curated edit of products from the brand that conceal and care for blemishes, offering a long-term solution to the issue.  Available from drhauschka and pharmacies nationwide.

Cult Aussie brand Lanolips have recently launched a few new products.   Lip Water (£13) is a new kind of hydration for thirsty lips.  Lighter than a balm, giving a subtle, dewy, translucent finish.  Completely liquid with zero wax and with added peppermint oil to refresh and holographic shimmer to enhance lips’ natural colour.  The formulation also includes lanolin and hyaluronic acid and is cruelty free.

Lano Face Base – The Aussie Flyer (£20) is a leave-on mask that reboots dull, dry skin and brings back moisture, glow and radiance, giving juicy, dewy skin regardless of how much (or little!) sleep your client has had.  The mask has also been formulated to work magic in-flight to combat the stress of flying for your skin.   Lanolin is mixed with mint and coffee to wake, hydrate and recondition weary skin.

Lano Face Base Vitamin E Day Cream (£20) has been formulated to deeply replenish and store moisture, giving all day hydration.  Their hero ingredient Lanolin is combined with vitamin E, glycerin and soothing oatmeal to give deep hydration.   The cream can be layered under, over or mixed with actives and serums for tailored performance and repair.

La Roche-Posay have launched Eau Micellaire Ultra (£12.50) a cleanser inspired by two-phase makeup remover technology, to remove makeup, impurities and pollution.  The formula includes magnetic micelle particles to remove both visible and invisible dirt from the skin’s surface.  It also contains their signature thermal spring water for anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties along with glycerine for instant hydration.  It has been tested on reactive skin to ensure high tolerance for even the most sensitive skin types.  Available from larocheposay, boots, feelunique, lookfantastic, escentual and independent pharmacies.

 

Industry news

Watermans founded in 2014 by husband and wife team Matt and Gail Waterman have now launched into Boots.  Grow me shampoo now sells 1 bottle every 30 seconds and was recently announced as the number one searched for hair care brand in the UK.   The GrowMe Shampoo (£13.95) is certified vegan and aims to tackle hair-loss and revitalise dull and thin hair.  Containing ingredients like biotin, caffeine and argan oil, Watermans Shampoo is clinically proven to strengthen hair follicles, improves scalp circulation and increase hair density.  Available now from boots, where you can also buy the set of shampoo and conditioner for £24.95.
