Here at Warpaint we are massive fans of Huda Beauty, the brand launched in 2013 by beauty blogger Huda Kattan which has become the world’s number 1 beauty brand on Instagram with over 38 million followers. We were very excited to get our hands on their new Throwbacks Collection; eight new sexy retro Matte Power Bullet shades, inspired by the ’90s.
This is such a nostalgic range, comprised of the softest pinks and warmest browns. The beautiful retro shades will take you straight back to the days of Cindy Crawford and the Spice Girls. A great excuse to crack out those 1990s playlists and brush up on your Vogueing moves – you may want to draw the line at shoulder pads though.
Huda and her team took two years to develop the perfect matte bullet lipstick that would out-perform all the rest. Their unique formula saturates lips in rich colour with just one stroke. The full-coverage formula leaves lips feeling smooth and hydrated – the ultimate in matte comfort.
Saturated with pigment, this bullet delivers a shot of intense colour and is layerable to get the depth of colour you crave. As Huda said herself, “So much pigment we almost broke the machine!”

The unique diamond-shaped bullet was designed for easy application and layering. Engineered for precision, the pointed tip can be used to contour and line lips, or accentuate the cupid’s bow, while the flat base fills large areas evenly with ease Huda advises starting in the centre of the lips and moving outwards. You can then build up to the desired level of impact. Remember in the 90s, more is more. You can never have Too Much!
