February 19th, 2019
With only a few days to go before this year’s Professional Beauty London 2019, this coming weekend marks a new addition to the Warpaint area. For the first time we’ve create an Education Village within the Warpaint area where representatives of top educators are on hand to answer your questions.
It’s very exciting to bring you this new section which you’ll find at S67 which is close to the Warpaint Live Stage. We chatted to the educators to discover what they’re offering.
“As one of the leading make-up academies for film, TV and theatre, we are constantly reappraising what we do and why. It is paramount that we continue to do this so we can stay on top of our field.
By attending trade shows like the Professional Beauty, we can communicate our aims with the interested public our aims,” explains Petar Agbaba of Christine Blundell Makeup Academy whose graduates are working across film, theatre and TV.
“All our tutors currently work as professional Film, TV & Theatre Make-up Artists & Designers. Now in its 12th year, our Academy nurtures a true family spirit and aftercare, and we only run one make-up course at any one time, with the maximum class size of 14 students. In addition, all our graduates are given the opportunity to join Christine on set, gaining valuable experience after completing their course.”
West Thames College
The team from West Thames College echoes this. “We’re excited to be participating at the Professional Beauty London 2019 event. At the event we aim to promote a range of our make-up courses and inspire attendees to consider make-up as a career path. We will be on hand to give examples of the training, facilities, and support our college has to offer. And, we will use this opportunity to create networks with some of the world leading brands in the make-up industry.”
