Cult US hair brand IGK  have a launched Crybaby Anti-Frizz Smoothing Serum (£25) inspired by skincare technology.  The serum-in-oil formula absorbs into the hair for a weightless, non-greasy feel, eliminating frizz while smoothing, softening and adding shine.  It includes nourishing coconut oil and prickly pear cactus extract for added colour dimension and shine.  Suitable for all hair types, including chemically treated, and colour safe with UV protection.  It is vegan, cruelty-free and formulated without gluten, petrolatum and mineral oils. Innovative British brand CBeautyDifferently have just launched the first CBD infused natural beauty products.  The range merges CBD and Marula oils, known for powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties.  It treats dry, dehydrated, flaky and acne-prone skins, and its plumping action can reduce the appearance of fine lines.  The oil works well as a pre-makeup moisturiser as it is non-greasy and easily absorbed;  it can also be used as a topical pain reliever.  All products are cruelty-free and suitable for vegans so can be used on a wide range of clients.  Included in the range are Cannabalm (£20), a portable, roller bottle of oil, perfect for the handbag.  CBD Enriching Oil (£48) which can be used alone or added to moisturiser, shampoo or conditioner – a little goes a long way.  There are also EScentual Oil Aromatherapy Sticks (£25) in three different mood-enhancing scents.  As well as the benefits noted above, the oil also claims to have aphrodisiac qualities.  I’ll leave that for you to discover!  Available from cbdbeauty

Veganuary may be over, but there are still plenty of vegan-friendly products to discover.  The Power Duo Serum from W=Hb² (£110.00) is a double-pump, two-phase vegan triple-action skin care treatment, combining anti-aging in phase 1 with brightening and anti-pollution actions in phase 2.  Use alone or beneath moisturiser to leave skin looking fresh, dewy and glowing. Barry M’s new Nymph Radiance Serum (£7.99) will give a moisture boost as well as revealing brighter and more refined skin.  Use this multi-purpose, light-weight serum with your clients either as a primer or mixed with foundation for a dewy, luminous finish.  It includes anti-inflammatory apricot oil, soothing tea tree and brightening papaya.  Available now from BarryM and Superdrug stores, launching in selected Boots stores on 13th February.


Bobbi Brown Cosmetics have had two new launches, firstly their popular Extra Lip Tint (£22.50) has three new shades, bare nude, bare raspberry and bare blackberry.  This is a colour-enhancing oil-infused balm that gives lips a sheer tint of colour while leaving them feeling smoother, softer and hydrated.   The second is the limited-edition Lucky in Luxe Collection for lips and eyes.  In new glam packaging, there are eight shades of Luxe Lip (£28) and three Luxe Eye Shadow shades (£27).  Available from BobbiBrown.
