Obsession is a new trend-led brand founded by Makeup Revolution, opening in 421 stores across the UK this week. Their first launch is a 25 piece collection including seven eyeshadow palettes and a range of highlighters, blushes, bronzers and lip glosses, all of which are £6-10, vegan and cruelty-free. Most of the palettes have removable pans, and the brand is selling single eyeshadows for £2, providing an affordable solution for makeup artists who like to create their own palettes. Obsession has also collaborated with beauty blogger Belle Jorden who has created a warm-toned palette and three nude glosses. The brand is available to buy from Boots and revolutionbeauty.com.
Lip balm brand eos has announced its latest product, Crystal (£6.99). Crystal is a clear, wax-free balm and has a vegan formula containing natural oils including coconut, shea, sunflower seed oil and castor oil to soften lips so that their natural beauty shines through. The balm is available in two flavours – Hibiscus Peach and Vanilla Orchid – and is now available to buy from Boots, Superdrug and BeautyBay.
Kenzo World has recently launched The Eye Palette, (£38) inspired by the Kenzo’s World fragrance. The palette features 8 shimmering shades, ranging from earthy neutrals to a bright white, sky blue, rich burgundy, and golden bronze. Also included is a dual ended applicator and a mirror for convenience. The Eye Palette is now available to buy online from Net-A-Porter.
Stila’s winter collection, Rise Above, contains festive yet wearable glitter-packed shades of red, pink, purple, silver and gold designed for the eyes, lips and face. The collection consists of travel and full-sized sets containing liquid lipsticks, liquid glitter eyeshadows, mascara, eyeliner, and a bouncy-to-the-touch highlighter palette which creates a beautiful festive glow. Also available are two vaults each with 12 shades: one of liquid eyeshadow for £195, and a liquid lipstick vault for £65. The Rise Above Collection is now available to buy from stila.co.uk.
Barry M Cosmetics has announced new Face Jewels, (£4.99) just in time for the mad dash of Halloween bookings. Perfect for using on clients to create a quick and easy look, the jewels come with adhesive on the back so they can be peeled out of the packaging and stuck directly onto the face. The Face Jewels are available to buy from Superdrug and Barry M.
Vichy Laboratoires are expanding their range of facemasks with a Detox Clarifying Charcoal Mask and a Soothing Aloe Vera Mask (£15). The Clarifying Charcoal Mask is Vichy’s first mineral detoxifying mask, aiming to revive, smooth and clarify skin which has been exposed to pollution in the urban environment. The Soothing Aloe Vera Mask helps to revitalise dry skin with Aloe Vera and Liquorice extract which work to give comfort and relief. These are to be added to Vichy’s original collection for sensitive skin, including a peeling mask, a clay mask and a quenching mask. The masks are now available from vichy.co.uk.
