Hot off this week’s news – If you’re determined that your makeup should be seen from outer space, take a look at Misslyn’s new Cosmo Glam Collection.  The Highlighting Palette (£20) contains six holographic powder highlighters that you can build in intensity – so whether you want a subtle lit from within look or a blinding gleam, this palette will work for you.  If you prefer a liquid highlight, try out the Star Light! Fluid Highlighter (£9.60), which can be used as a base for foundation or worn alone as a highlighter. It’s available in two shades: Big Bang, a rosy glow, and Out Of This World, a bronze shade.  Finally, the Velvet Diamond Nail Polish (£6) combines a matte effect with a sparkling optic for a pearly finish to your nails. The collection will be available from October from BeautyBay.

Barry M’s newest launch will have you dreaming of autumn: the Shipwrecked Baked Eyeshadow Palette (£12.99) contains 18 matte and metallic shades in rich autumnal colours.  The deep ultramarine blue and pumpkin orange are particularly inspiring this time of year, and the rich silky pigments mean you can create your ideal look easily. The palette will be available from the 17th October from Superdrug.

Rimmel London’s new Match Perfection campaign has chosen 25 consumers to showcase the range’s variety and what one can do when you feel confident in your own skin.  Matching 99% of skin tones, the Match Perfection Foundation (£8.29) has 25 shades, and amino acid treated pigments in the formula even out and refine the complexion.  The weightless foundation fuses with skin, blending seamlessly and mimicking skin’s own tone and texture. Light-reflecting, soft-focus powders help to visibly blur fine lines and imperfections, creating a luminous, pore free finish.  The matching Match Perfection Concealer (£6.49) has six shades, and adapts to your skin tone. It can be used as both concealer and highlighter, and banishes signs of fatigue whilst illuminating the eye area. The soft precision brush is ideal for the delicate under eye area.  Both products are available now nationwide.

Too Faced’s Jerrod Blandino was determined to create a velvety lipstick full of dimensional matte effects and comfortable wear.  A follow on from the iconic Melted line, the new Melted Matte-tallic collection showcases 13 new dimensional matte shades and one Lip Transformer.  The Liquified Metallic Matte Lipstick (£19) drenches lips in a rich brushed metal matte finish, while the velvety formula offers luxuriously plush, comfortable wear.  The Liquified Metallic Lip Transformer (£19) amps up the effect of the base lipsticks with opalescent prismatic pearls that transform your favourite shade into a mystical, holographic version of itself.  The lipsticks are available now from ASOS, Selfridges, Debenhams and the Too Faced Flagship Store.

ZOEVA’s new Premiere Collection is inspired by the new women of the 1920s – vivacious, empowered, and endlessly bold, these women lived life on their own terms, and this collection celebrates their spirit, and gives today’s women a way to express themselves when words alone aren’t quite enough.  The Premiere Eyeshadow Palette (£18) is an ensemble of 10 eyeshadows in rich warm tones designed to create a perfectly smouldering look. Featuring four mattes, three shimmers, two metallics, and one duochrome, you’re sure to create a mesmerising eye look for any occasion. Combine this with the Premiere Blush Palette (£13), which contains two highly pigmented blush shades – one a shimmering pink and one a matte terracotta – and a champagne highlighter.  The ensuing glow will make you feel ready to take on the world. The Premiere Lip Crayons will have you celebrating your freedom of self-expression with their bold hues: a shimmering orange, matte dusty pink, and matte classic berry. The crayons are lightweight, long-lasting, and vegan, and will carry you easily from day to night. The perfect companions for the face and eye palettes, the Premiere Collection Single Brushes were designed to craft glamorous, stage-ready looks.  With prices from £8.99 – £12.99, mix and match to create a collection perfect for your style. The Premiere Collection Set (£84) is also available, and features all the products. The collection launches on the 24th September, and whilst the set will be exclusive to, all other Premiere products will also be available at ZOEVA retailers.

Described as the Botox alternative in a cream, Indeed Labs’ new Snoxin II (£24.99) is designed to achieve similar results without the needles.  A newly updated version of the award winning Snoxin I, the intelligent reformulation contains ingredients clinically proven to promote muscle relaxation by blocking signals sent from the brain to the facial muscles to contract.  It also encourages better skin reparation, and increases elasticity by allowing new collagen to grow and mature. Snoxin II is also an intensely hydrating product which enhances skin’s suppleness and smoothness, revealing more vibrant skin and improving skin’s moisture retention.  93% of testers saw skin lifted after eight hours, so what are you waiting for? It’s available from Boots now.
