Hot off this week’s news: No skincare aficionado’s bathroom would be complete without something from cult brand Emma Hardie, and her range has now been expanded to include the luxurious Midas Touch Revitalising Eye Serum (£49).  The lightweight serum reduces puffiness and fades dark circles thanks to the inclusion of an extract from the Persian tree Beautifeye, and moisturises the area using hyaluronic acid and inca inchi oil. It also contains Glycofilm, which acts as a natural shield against environmental damage, and Liftonin X-press, an innovative polymer matrix that provides an instantly noticeable tightening effect.  The serum is available from Emma Hardie stockists nationwide and emmahardie.com.

Sebamed – a pH neutral skincare brand – are happily introducing the Gentle Scrub (£7.99) to their popular Clear Face range, which completes the range designed for oily skin.  Dermatologist Dr Anita Sturnham notes that if you’re prone to oily skin, it is most likely that you have an inbalance in your skin, and Sebamed’s Clear Face range has been specifically designed to help rebalance stressed skin.  The exfoliation in this scrub helps to remove the build up of old skin and sebum and allows healthy skin to glow through, thanks to the clever wax-based micro-peeling particles it contains, which leave skin smooth and supple. The formula also contains kaolin, which works to absorb excess sebum and help unblock pores.  The range is available from sebamed.co.uk.

We all know the importance of taking our vitamins – but do we know the importance of putting them on our skin too?  Alpha H’s Vitamin Profiling, a multi-disciplinary approach to lifestyle using skin identical cosmeceutical vitamins, is made to target the problem that less than 1% of orally ingested vitamins reach th epidermis.  With pollution having an ever increasing effect on our skin, it is more important than ever to boost our skin’s antioxidant qualities – otherwise we risk sallow, uneven skin, hyperpigmentation, and damage to dermal fibres, to name but a few.  Luckily, Alpha H have introduced their new Multivitamin Super Cream (£45) – a multivitamin in a jar. The cream is a non-AHA treatment which combines a potent cocktail of vitamins A, B, C, and E, which are blended with Pollushield™, an innovative polymer which prevents the absorption of toxic metals and grime.  By boosting skin’s immunity and antioxidant protection, the cream maximises skin health, as well as providing immediate and long-lasting hydration. The cream is available from Cult Beauty, Treat Your Skin, and Alpha H.
