Sponsored Story – Ever wanted to be a gloss boss?  Piling on the retro charm, new on the scene NYC beauty brand Glossy Pops may just be your next buy.  Formed in September 2017, the brand is combining the cuteness of cake pops with the sassy sparkle of gloss, their balm-gloss combinations are sure to be the next big trend.  Their goal was to create a high quality Instagram-friendly product that their target audience could afford, and the decision to combine products into one means they are handy and great for using on the go.

Both balms and glosses are infused with good-enough-to-eat flavours, from pomegranate to watermelon, and have some unique shades – the turquoise shimmer balm and clear gloss of I Believe in Unicorns (£12) is one of our favourites.

Nourish and sooth lips while you smooth on the balm, and then up the glam by putting lipgloss on top.  Glossy Pops are available in a variety of shades, from the fruity Resting Peach Face (£12) and on-trend #Selfie Strawberry (£12) to the Cosmic Wave’s Caribbean Coconut (£18), which promises green holographic shimmery balm combined with green coconut flavoured holographic sparkle lip gloss.

And if you want a little more colour, Glossy Pops have you – and your lips – covered.  They’re working on a range of pops, including their Chrome Collection, which combine lip liner and lipstick for a perfect pout.  These range in colour from the deliciously named Cronut Frosting (£20) to the world’s-cutest-backstory brown of Toasty the Mosty (£20) – which was named after the office puppy.

Here’s what really makes Glossy Pops stand out from the crowd though: the formula of the products.  The balms, glosses, lipsticks and lip liners are gluten free, not tested on animals, dermatologist tested, and paraben and petrochemical free, and in addition, the balms are 100% natural.  They are also committed to being fully inclusive and not gender specific.

Glossy Pops is launching with three delectable collections coming soon – Sweet Yo’Self, TGI Fruity, and Cosmic Waves –  and will be stocked in Dolls Kill, Urban Outfitters, and Missguided, as well as on their own site.  And keep your eyes peeled: the brand has some secret collaboration with huge brands in the pipeline.  The lipsticks will be rolled out in September with 13 shades to choose from, and in total Glossy Pops have 10 collections in the works, so whatever your mood, soon there’s sure to be a Glossy Pop to match.
