cozzette shadows

Guru Makeup Emporium has a whole host of new launches to coincide with IMATS London.  International pro artist, Roque Cozzette, is introducing Infinite Eyeshadows, the latest line of eyeshadow pigments.  A burst of sensual autumn colours, deep rich reds and violets, marigold yellows, autumn greens and blues, and gorgeous eye-catching metallic, every product has three things in common: they’re cruelty-free, long-lasting, and are able to hold up under professional circumstances.  Each of the Infinite Eyeshadows are made with macro pigments that are the very latest in cosmetic technology, with velvet mattes, velvets, and crystal textures in each colour palette.  Cozzette’s background in photography has played a huge role in the design of perfect pigments that can stand up to both natural and studio lightning, as well as with all skin tones.  Priced at £11 for each individual Infinite Eyeshadows in a square 3 grams pro pan, there are 60 shades in the launch.

Evie blender

Fresh in to The Makeup Armoury is the Evie Blender.  Completely new to the UK, this 100% hypoallergenic, platinum-grade, silicone blender was created by film and TV artist, Angie Johnson, to cut down on waste – in terms of product, time cleaning and landfill.  Super-easy to clean, it washes off quickly with warm water and soap, rubbing alcohol or just a make-up wipe.  Unlike its foam cousins, it absorbs less product and saves you money.  No more makeup stains stuck on your blender no matter how many times you wash it.  The textured surface applies make-up like a traditional sponge blender providing a perfect blended finish.  It’s as soft as skin and with proper care, lasts at least twice as long as foam sponges.  It doesn’t hold on to makeup residue, which can harbour bacteria and cause breakouts, has a wider base for covering larger areas and a smaller pointed end to get under the eyes and in small areas.  Priced at £20, The Makeup Armoury is giving a 10% discount at IMATS.

Smiths

Adding to their already impressive line-up, Love Makeup announces a trio of newbies.  Launched in 2015 by Calgary-based sisters and pro artists, Janelle and Nyla Olynyk, who longed for unique products that simply didn’t exist and felt their potential was being hindered by the limited offerings of the cosmetics market, they took matters into their own hands and founded Smith Cosmetics: by artists, for artists.  After developing the products they’d always dreamed of, this was followed by extensive testing with professional make-up artists to ensure that every item met their sky-high standards.  The result is a revolutionary line of cosmetic brushes and accessories that will transform the way you think about makeup, and become a catalyst for inspiration.  The brush pricing for IMATS ranges from £13 to £25 and brand founders Janelle and Nyla will be on the stand to help launch their brand into the UK.

EMJ Classic

Founded by mua Emily-Jane Williams, the Classic Collection is an artist, all black, favourite consisting of a Luxe Brush Roll, Luxe Brush Belt, Kit Bag, Hair Pouch, Gloss Roll and Pencil Roll.  With IMATS show pricing from £18, all items by EMJ are hand made in the UK and Emily will join Love Makeup at the show.

Cinema Secrets
