Known for their highlighters, Sleek Cosmetics is launching a whole bunch of new ones in their Distorted Dreams Collection.  With three cream and two powder highlighters, the collection will also include three Matte Me Metallic Lip Creams in Rusted Rose, Volcanic, and Roman Copper.  Launching on 31^st May, it’s priced at £10.99 from sleekmakeup.com.

L’Oréal Paris has appointed make-up supremo, Val Garland, as its new Global Makeup Director.  Known for her spontaneity and fast-paced creative process, Val will be involved from the first stage of product innovation.

Val comments, “I can’t wait to get inside the science labs at this N°1 beauty brand and co-create the makeup that I want to use – and that I think women the world over will want to use too.  I’ve always said we don’t need to spend a lot of money to get brilliant, innovative, superior quality make-up products and L’Oréal Paris proves that.  I’m looking forward to the challenge of taking on the creative makeup direction at this global brand.  As a make-up artist, I am super excited to be working with L’Oréal Paris, this really is a dream gig.”

Beauty brand bbrowbar has unveiled Top Coat; a colourless brow gel designed to waterproof, smudge-proof and sweat-proof brow makeup. Top Coat is priced at £18 and will be available in blinkbrowbar salons nationwide and online.

Cosmetics brand Rouge Bunny Rouge has announced the launch of two new burgundy mascaras; the Modelling Mascara WITCHERY in Red Nightfall gives minute definition with root-to-tip application and the Magnitude Mascara UBIQUITOUS in Ruby is lengthening and thickening, providing a bold effect and defines the tips of the lashes. The mascaras will be available online from 5th May and are priced at £25.

 

Primark’s beauty division has launched its new PRISM collection, featuring a range of holographic highlighters and iridescent rainbow hues, features a magical mix of shimmering eye shadows, colour changing lipsticks and glitter body paints, as well as metallic tattoos and fantasy face gems for the festival season. The collection launches this week in store, and prices range from £1.50 for the Lip Gloss to £4 for the Eye Shadow Palette.
