Warpaint’s Live Stage at Professional Beauty London 2017 is shaping up nicely. From bodypainting to the latest trends, airbrushing to artistry and colour, and hosted by the incomparable Armand Beasley, our speakers will keep you mesmerised throughout Sunday and Monday. We’re introducing you to new brands and reacquainting you with your favourites. Demonstrations of colour camouflage and beauty make-up take the stage alongside Instagram and YouTube stars. We think you’ll like it.
Warpaint Speakers – Sunday 26th Feb
11:00 – Kryolan

Description: On the Warpaint stage, Ger will focus on Artdeco’s Spring/Summer Collection 2017 “Hypnotic Blossom”. Inspired by the colourful beauty of nature with its floral designs and wonderful bright colours, Ger will bring her demo to life for the Warpaint visitors.

Description: London- and Yorkshire-based Make-up & Body Artist, Julia has over 20 years’ experience of working in fashion, theatre, film & TV. Until 2013, she combined her freelance career with working as an educator, firstly at the London College of Fashion and then a decade developing the BA Hons & the HND Specialist Makeup course at West Thames College. In 2013 she launched the JT Makeup range of metallic leafs and glitters and continues her busy freelance career.
14:00 – Paul Herrington, Head of Make-up, Nanshy
Title: The Importance of using Make-up Bushes
Description: In this demo Paul will present the benefits of using make-up brushes for everyday look.
14:45 – Maria Malone-Guerbaa
Title: Creating the Cyborg – robotic look from the Queen of Illusion, Maria Malone-Guerbaa.
Description: With a background in Fine Art, Maria trained at CMBA before working in film, TV and theatre, until a chance request to help with facepainting at her kids’ schools and she fell in love with the new canvas. The rest, as they say, is history – and her 200k Instagram followers can’t get enough of her work. With a global reach, Maria’s a regular in the media, juggling demoing and teaching with collaborations with many cosmetic companies.

Take inspiration from our current AW16/17 Trendlooks, from artists Leanne Simmons and Rosie Barrett. Space Breeze showcases the futuristic, high-brilliance reflection of the runways and lifestyle of spiritual unburdening, with skin that breathes the pearly, dewy finish and frosted pinks giving the winter blush of cold air. For this look, muted pastel shades where combined to give the eyes that accent of colour for a soft ethereal look with icy lashes. Terrestrial Halo represents the fierce majestic powers that embody individualistic. The powdery pinks, transparent skin and subtle, white contour provide an air of sophistication that in turn enhances the bold statement layers of the perfectly smudged eyes in rich petrol-blue tones. The richness of Terrestrial Halo was finally defined by matching the lip tones to the ornate, lustrous garnets.
