Back when Warpaint first launched one of our absolute fave brands was the eponymous Vincent Longo Cosmetics. Founded in 1995 by celebrity make-up artist Vincent Longo, the products were well known for their high-performance formulas and trend-led colour palettes. After something of a hiatus, having left the UK in the mid Noughties, the brand is back and ready to introduce a whole new generation of British MUAs to its fashion-forward make-up range.
The UK comeback means that the Vincent Longo brand can once more build on what they were known for: exceptional foundation and innovative, stand-out formulations. It has been completely revamped, except the iconic complexion products. New items will include Liquid Concealer, formulated with arnica and peptides to reduce dark circles and puffiness; Pearl X Eyeshadows, baked shadows with speckled colours; and Perfect Shine V Gloss, glimmery pearl lip colours that add temporary volume.
We are very excited to introduce Tiffany Kissler, Director of Style & Artistry for Vincent, at Professional Beauty London 2017 who will take to the Warpaint Stage and also judge our Runway category at the Warpaint Championships.
As the brand gains traction and popularity once more, we asked what their Top Five products are now they’re back, bigger and better.
First up comes their Pearl X Eyeshadow. The multiple shades comprise of both matt and shimmer textures that can be used individually to line, shade and contour or swirled together to create a soft 3D finish. The superior, super-blendable formula glides on like silk and is infused with Vitamin E for a prolonged hydrating wear. Available in five beautiful shades.
In at no.2 is the Crème Gel Eyeliner. A gel liner like no other, Vincent Longo’s Créme Gel Eyeliner pairs rich pigments with subtle pearls for a multi-dimensional finish. The luxurious, creamy formula is whipped and delivers longwearing water-resistant colour that never looks dull or flat. Can be used as a long wear shadow.
The La Belle Luce Highlighter is in third place. Designed to create an ethereal glow in an instant, the multi-tonal, silky powder is created with luminescent micro pearls to reflect light and brighten the complexion. Vitamin E adds hydration for comfortable long wear and the paraben-free, hypoallergenic formula blends beautifully for a natural looking highlight. Available in two flattering shades – Flora (pink pearl) and Patina (soft gold).
Next in line comes the Water Canvas Blush. With their unique creme-to-powder formulas that’s easy to apply, it’s no surprise that the Water Canvas Blush are the supermodels’ favourite – they give the skin a beautifully healthy-looking and long-lasting glow. The oil and fragrance free formulas are created with 75% Microwater, containing botanical seaweed extract and Vitamin E to infuse the skin with all the nutrients it needs to keep it hydrated and protected.
And finally the hero product of the brand, the Water Canvas Crème to Powder Foundation. Part of the best-selling Water Canvas range, this cream-to-powder foundation provides featherweight, light-medium coverage that feels like a second skin. The oil, fragrance and paraben free formula is formulated with 75% microwater and Seaweed Extract to protect, nourish and lock in moisture for prolonged hydration. Microwater intuitively seeks out imperfections, helping to diminish the look of fine lines and smooth skin for flawless results.
