We can’t quite contain our excitement to announce that the incredible Maria Malone-Guerbaa is the special guest who will be judging our #InstaWarpaint online photographic competition.

With a background in Fine Art, Maria trained at CMBA before working in film, TV and theatre, until a chance request to help with facepainting at her kids’ schools and she fell in love with the new canvas. The rest, as they say, is history – and her 200k Instagram followers can’t get enough of her work. With a global reach, Maria’s a regular in the media, juggling demoing and teaching with collaborations with many cosmetic companies.

The theme for this year’s London #InstaWarpaint competition is Mesmerising Eyes. The Warpaint Championships gives you the opportunity to showcase your original photographic images. With inspiration from the windows to the soul, use your imagination and creativity to produce cover-worthy shots. Not confined to beauty make-up, this competition is open to body-painters, sfx artists, face painters – in fact, anyone with great ideas and the skill to create them.

Judged by the Warpaint editorial team and special guest, Maria Malone-Guerbaa, you’ll be marked on originality, photo composition, interpretation of theme, use of colour, styling, model choice and overall impact.
