Our #Getting Social series is BACK!  The hottest round-up of inspiration we’ve found on the web, with some help from all of you.  We asked you to send in your own work and links to others who have inspired you, and now it’s time to share.  Time for #Getting Social – Winter, our favourite chillingly gorgeous looks from across the web.

Here’s a tutorial from the NYX Face Awards, as Alexandra Anele completed her first NYX challenge by recreating the Snow Queen from the classic fairy tale.

Instagram is a gold mine for inspiration during this winter season.  Here is a look by Maria De Vos, including some lovely frosty false lashes.

Here we have the ultimate ice queen photographed by @pautofff and the make-up by @kornetovastudio.  Not only do we love costume and the delicate winter crown, but the icy eyebrows and blue contouring gives the perfect frost-bitten touch.

Make-up artist @makeupbymelodie gives us a chill with her delicately icy look, making us want to wrap up warm.  A prime example of how less can be more – we love the pale frosted lips to accompany the snow effects.

A classy, simple winter look created using just pearls and shimmering lipstick.  Look by @makeupekaterina.

We love the mix of FX and classic beauty make-up used by DorotaMUA for her ice queen look, as well as her choice of warmer shades to create contrast with the ice effects – winter doesn’t have to mean blues and silvers alone.

Make-up artist Rekha Padan has produced a more gothic snow queen look using dark metallics and glitter.

Kandee Johnson is know for her lookalike make-up videos, but we’re pretty fond of this classy Snow Queen look – she’s kept it quite minimal, letting her decorative lashes, icy pink lip and textured brows do the talking.
