Since it’s Fashion Month, we’ve been thinking about the beauty trends we saw earlier this year during the A/W16 shows – thankfully our sister publication Hairdressers Journal has done the same with hair and produced a neat little feature about the biggest trend to hit the runway: hair accessories.  Thanks to HJI for letting us share the love again!

Gracing the A/W16 shows from Libertine to Erdem, hair accessories in every form are big news for the coming season.  Here’s some of our favourite ways to sport them, perfect to show your clients for any occasion.

The Brooch

The ever exquisite Alexa Chung shows us how a basic brooch can transform an updo from minimal chic to opulent glam.  Match it with drop earrings and it’s perfect for an evening event.

The Flower

The classic floral garland is the perfect way to transition styles from summer to autumn.  Soften slicked back buns or enhance boho waves in an instant.

The Tiara

For those extra special occasions, headpieces and tiaras are the accessory to sport.  Take notes from Kate Bosworth and go decadent with a bejewelled crown – partner with a sleek updo to emanate red carpet glam.
