With its fairytale-esque location, bodypainters from across Europe will have a chance to travel to the Keukenhof Castle in Lisse, Amsterdam, and display their body artwork to an international audience.
The European Bodypainting Festival will take place on 13 – 14th August and will offer a mixture of bodyart, shows and live music.
Throughout the weekend, artists will be showcasing their talent on painted living canvases until later on where they will display their work in presentations and stage shows. Whilst the artists are busy creating their winning pieces, the stage will be host to a series of international bands, DJs and national musicians.
Following the successful World Bodypainting Festival in Austria this month, the partner event attempts to do the same but specifically for European artists.
The Euro Award categories include brush/sponge, airbrush, special effects, UV paint and facepainting. Saturday’s theme will be Wonders of Nature whilst Sunday’s show will explore the theme of Revolution – Time for Change.
Make Up For Ever are presenting the championships and giving the artists a chance to win a total of €8,000 in prize money and €11,000 in Make Up For Ever products.
The top prizes in the Euro Awards include €1,000 in money and €1,000 worth of Make Up For Ever products.
