M∙A∙C Cosmetics have teamed up with popular make-up artist Violette Serat to bring the newest trend set to take over the make-up world: Lip Tattoos. Serat and M∙A∙C Cosmetics took to Instagram to showcase their new lip looks, showcasing a full set of lips featuring a huge range of tattoos. These small temporary tattoos are perfect to add a graphic touch to festival looks – the trend has even been approved by Teen Vogue – and will hopefully be available to buy soon.
We at Warpaint would also like to congratulate Director of Make-Up Artistry at M∙A∙C Cosmetics, Terry Barber, who has been awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Design from Southampton Solent University, Monday 11th July 2016. Barber, a pioneer of the minimalist look, responded by saying “it’s a huge honour. For me, it’s always just been about talking and working with the craft that I love. For people to think that I’m also some kind of influencer is a huge surprise and pretty overwhelming.”
