The Estée Edit, Estée Lauder’s newest make-up and skincare brand, is now available exclusively at Selfridges.  Inspired by the brand’s guest editors and customers, The Estée Edit comprises a number of products for the face, eyes and lips.  Key products in the range include: the Edit Eyeshadow Palette (£36), which contains Kendall Jenner’s picks of the perfect shades designed to shape and highlight with both matte and shimmer finishes; Flash Illuminator (£22), a high-impact highlighting cream that also delivers hydrating skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid, caffeine and vitamin E, available in five different shades; Flash Photo Gloss (£15), a high-tech gloss that contains an iridescent blue pearl; Late Night Eraser Brightening Eye Balm with Pink Peony (£29), a complexion hybrid that soothes and refreshes around the eyes, infused with micro-sized pearl for a light-reflective finish; Pore Vanishing Stick (£21), which can be worn alone, under or over make-up and used for touch ups; Dissolve The Drama 2-in-1 Makeup Remover + Cleanser (£22), a luxe oil that lightly milks and rinses cleanly off; Skin Glowing Balm Makeup with Pink Peony (£26), which offers buildable coverage in 12 shades; Hi Lo Stylo Contour + Highlight (£22), available in light/medium and medium/deep; the Barest Lipcolor (£17), which delivers nude lip coverage with a balm formula and natural shine finish in six shades; Mattified Lipstick (£17), available in 12 shades; Lip Flip Shade Transformer (£15), to be used over lipstick to customise the intensity or colour of a shade, available in Turn Down (black) and Turn Up (yellow); and More Than Brows Define + Line + Shade (£17), available in five shades.

The Iver Academy Classroom

On the 9th, 11th and 12th June renowned hair and make-up school The Iver Academy will be hosting two exciting events for young people keen to take a vocational route into the Film, TV and Theatre industry.  The first of these events on the 9th June will be The Iver Academy Open Afternoon.  The afternoon will offer prospective students a close-up, behind the scenes look at what it takes to become a professional hair and make-up artist.

From Saturday the 11th to Sunday the 12th June The Iver Academy will also host a taster weekend, giving prospective students the opportunity to experience the wide variety of skills and techniques taught across different courses.

SoulTree

Natural beauty brand Soultree has announced its launch into the UK with its collection of 12 certified natural Ayurvedic kajals, each priced at £13.90.  Made by a traditional ayurvedic recipe and following a 3000 year old process, the 100% natural Soultree kajals are all handmade and combine natural carbon black collected from vegetable oil lamps with organic ghee, natural mineral pigments and organic almond oil to create vibrant colours that highlight the eyes.  There are 12 different colours in the range, from Fern Green to Pure Black.  The brand is available from selected health stores across the country and soultreeskincare.co.uk.

 

Illamasqua-lip-lure

Illamasqua has announced the launch of its Lip Lures, available from 15 June priced and at £19.50.  The new Lip Lure provides a long lasting, liquid lipstick formula in a strong high-gloss finish.  The formula glides onto lips smoothly and provides comfortable, continuous wear, with a slender sponge applicator to allow for precise application.

Lip Lure is available in 10 shades: Bloom (pink nude), Rose (rose pink), Pow (hot pink), Dusk (cool deep pink), Nebulous (deep green), Orchid (deep purple), Jus (deep berry), Sorbet (warm red), Virtue (box red) and Embers (hot orange).

BurberryWendyRowe

Shimmer Dust, a holographic gold or silver glitter for the face and body, is the latest product from Burberry’s make-up line.  The product was used in the latest advertising campaign that features Edie Campbell and shot by Mario Testino, celebrating the best of British art and creativity.  The Burberry Shimmer Dust will be available from August, priced at £20.

Bourjois Tropical Festival

Bourjois have several new products joining its collection this summer, which will be available nationwide from 8th June.  The brand has firstly unveiled its Paris Tropical Festival Summer Look which focuses on bright hues including turquoise blue, matte denim blue and fuchsia, combined with a vibrant khaki.  The line-up includes a repackaged Delice De Poudre Bronzing Powder (£7.99), new Contour Waterproof Eye Pencils (£4.99) available in three summer shades, Limited Edition Tropical Festival Volume Clubbing Mascara (£7.99), a new shade of their Color Boost Lip Crayon (£7.99) in Lolli Poppy, as well as two new shades of 1 Seconde Nail Polish (£5.99).

Bourjois Contouring Illusion

Bourjois will also be introducing its new Sun Illusion Solar Look, which features its new Contouring Illusion Bronzer & Highlighter (£7.99).  Swirl together for a sunkissed glow, or use the colours separately to define and illuminate the face.

Sleek MakeUP has unveiled its Whimsical Wonderland Collection for summer, available from today (1st June).  Featuring a selection of pastel and bright summer hues, the line-up includes the latest i-Divine eyeshadow palette in All the Fun of the Fair (£7.99), featuring 12 pastel shades including peach, blue and lilac.  New shades of their Lip VIP lipstick (£5.50) and Sweet Cheeks Blush (£5.99) – a long-lasting gel blush – are also included in the collection.  Hot pinks, oranges and purples provide a contrast to the pastel eye shades.

Suqqu

SUQQU is launching its first UK-exclusive Summer Colour Collection, inspired by ancient Japanese playful colours, which is available this month.  The new Blend Colour Eyeshadows (£45) are inspired by the colours of nature in the height of summer, with each palette containing three matte shades (a deep contour, cream highlight and an accent shade) and one sheer, shimmering shade.  Their Creamy Glow Lipstick Moist (£27) has two new full coverage shades to join the range: EX-20 Hyaku Daidai (vivid coral) and EX-21 Sen Ka (bright pink with blue undertones).  Rounding off the collection is the Mascara Extra Volume (£29), a new waterproof mascara which has a large, curved brush and a formula that blends two different tones of black.

SMOKIN SMOKINinside

W7 have added to their array of eye shadow palettes with two brand new versions.  Smokin’ is the ultimate palette to create a dark smoky eye and comprises a combination of matte and shimmer shades.  At the other end of the colour spectrum the Beat It palette includes a selection of matte and shimmery chocolate browns, bronze, copper and coral tones.  Each palette is priced at £9.95 and available from w7cosmetics.co.uk.
