Sunday 28th February

11am – Armand Beasley

Returning to London is the brilliant Armand Beasley, an in-demand celebrity make-up artist who has worked with Goldie Hawn, Natasha Hamilton and Michelle Keegan.  An accomplished speaker with an acting background to boot, Armand will be hosting our Warpaint stage all weekend.  He’s also our first speaker, where he will be talking about his passion for organic and natural make-up brands as well as creating a beautiful look on stage.

12.30pm – Kryolan

Gemma Horner, Kryolan’s golden girl, will be on-hand to demonstrate the latest in seasonal beauty trends with some of the brand’s latest products.  Whether it’s a bold brow or the perfect nude lip, Gemma’s looks are always very wearable, simple to achieve and effortlessly cool.  As Head of Education for Kryolan UK she travelled the world extensively working alongside the Kryolan Team, working on America’s Next Top Model Live (Canada), Miss Universe (The Bahamas), The World Bodypainting Festival (Austria) and several fashion shows (Berlin).  Most recently, she worked behind-the-scenes on The X Factor, including the live final.

2pm – Paintopia

Warpaint favourites Catriona Finlayson and Jennie Roberts return to Professional Beauty to create yet more stunning body art.  Using the same theme as the Circus Body Art competitions they will be judging on Monday, the ladies will create a piece on model Grace.  Using brush and sponge in a variety of techniques, they will demonstrate illustrative and cirque styles using water-based bodypaint and a range of other cosmetic products.  Not one to be missed!

3.30pm – Joey Bevan

The effervescent Joey Bevan returns to Professional Beauty to give our audience a taste of what it’s like to work on a high-fashion editorial shoot.  With a team of models, MUAs and Hair Stylists, Joey will be demonstrating how the different elements of the team need to work together, how best to communicate ideas and collaborate to achieve the final image.  As a brilliant fashion stylist and designer himself, he has worked on hundreds of shoots and is full of tips on how to create a positive and productive work environment.

Monday 29th February

11am – Kryolan

Taking to the stage on Monday is Victoria Lee, Kryolan UK’s Cosmetic Camouflage specialist, will present this useful area of make-up showcasing the Dermacolor range by Kryolan, which can camouflage tattoos, skin pigmentation and birth marks.  While she has trained in Theatre, Film, TV, Fashion, and photographic make-up it is this specialist genre of cosmetic camouflage where she finds herself excelling.  She has taken many international trips to teach this useful and rewarding discipline, with her most recent work including Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model Live and America’s Next Top Model Live in Canada.

12.30pm – ARTDECO

After the fantastic response to Macedonio Berezza’s Arctic Beauty look in Manchester, we’re thrilled to welcome Ger Kealy Cunniffe to the stage.  As ARTDECO’s national make-up artist, who has made several TV appearances and conducted make-up masterclasses for beauty business owners all across Europe, she will be demonstrating the new Hello Sunshine bronzing collection from ARTDECO to create a bronze goddess look and bring us into the spring and summer months.  Skin will look dewy and alive, with a more natural take on strobing.

2pm – Makeup Atelier Paris

We’re so excited to welcome Makeup Atelier Paris to Professional Beauty for the first time, as well as their speaker – the exceptional David Horne.  As a qualified academic professional makeup artist who has more than 24 years’ experience as a highly sought after IMATS Stage Educator, UMAExpo Exhibitor, guest speaker, makeup designer and product innovator, his talk is a must-see.  He’ll be talking about how to balance different tones on the face commonly found when working on Ebony skin, an essential skill for all make-up artists.  He’ll be using Make-Up Atelier Paris products as well as his Glambase 2 Wheel for women of colour – if you haven’t already seen David’s House of Glamdolls school, click here!

3.30pm  – Christine Blundell Make-up Academy

As the only UK professional make-up school for film, TV and theatre which is run by an Oscar and BAFTA-winning make-up and hair designer, we’re expecting big crowds for the CBMA talk.  Petar Agbaba will be on-hand to talk about the next stages after initial make-up courses – how to be a fantastic assistant and trainee on jobs.  While another pro creates a look on stage, Petar will be in discussion on how to create lived-in looks, deconstructed ever-so-slightly in order to appear more realistic, as well as addressing the challenges of being a jobbing MUA who is looking to progress.

4.30pm – Warpaint Championships

Join us at the Warpaint Stage to see the final catwalk of our Warpaint Championship competitors, followed by the announcement of our category winners!
