Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has created Sterling Nights, a luxurious Christmas collection that captures the jewel-toned hues and starstudded skies that inspired Bobbi on a recent trip to South Africa. The look is all about a rich, yet diffused smokey eye infused with flecks of gorgeous shimmer. Paired with luminous cheeks and a nude or brightly-coloured lip, The Collection includes the Sterling Nights Eye Palette (£59) which contains nine shadows from matte neutrals to rich, sparkle-infused hues for brilliant dimension. The combination of colours and textures flatters all skin tones and can be layered for a look that easily transitions from day to night. The Sequin Eye Shadows (£25) are intensely shimmering eye shadows in four stunning, marbleised shades. The baked, densely pigmented pearl infused formula provides a lightweight velvety texture that applies easily and seamlessly. Each shade can be worn alone or layered to create a multidimensional effect. A liquid Face Highlighter (£26) gives cheeks sheer but buildable radiance. Its silky, lightweight texture and light-reflective pearls impart a natural, fresh sheen. Available in three versatile shades that work well with all skin tones. The Limited Edition Lip Colors (£20) include red, a holiday classic, an everyday nude and two standout shades of orange and the Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner (£18) is the pencil version of Bobbi’s cult-classic and delivers richly pigmented colour, precision lining and 12-hour wear which is now available in a new deep evergreen shade.
One of our fave brands Sisley has four new products for next year, available from February and March 2016. Launching on 1 February is the Sisley Phyto Cernes Éclat in Shade 4 Golden Beige (£60), which follows the launch of the initial Phyto Cernes Éclat line three years ago. The new product, suitable for tanned skin, harnesses a formula that combines skincare with make-up to erase signs of fatigue from around the eyes for a refreshed look. Also launching in February are six new shades of the Sisley Phyto Lip Twist (£29), including Sugar, Litchi, Melon, Poppy, Love and Nut. The Lip Twist pencils provide vibrant colour with a 100% comfortable lip care formula, imperceptible texture and glossy shine. 1 March sees the launch of four new shades of the Sisley Phyto Eye Twist (£29), including Pearl, Amethyst, Copper and Emerald. The waterproof formula of the Phyto-Eye Twist is rich in pigments and mother-of-pearl to reflect the light and illuminate the iris, while the creamy formula glides on easily and respects the delicate skin of the eyelids. Additionally, the Sisley So Curl Mascara (£39) will also be launching on 1 March, offering a formula that combines complete eyelash care with a sculpting, curling and long-lasting texture. The mascara brush has been designed to hug the shape of the eye and create an instant curve, depositing the right amount of product to provide thicker lashes without clumping. So Curl Mascara is available in three shades: Deep Black, Deep Brown and Deep Blue.
Maybelline New York will launch of its new Baby Lips Balm & Blush (£4.99) in the UK in January, which provide a light wash of sheer colour for both the cheeks and lips. The new dual-purpose product offers a balmy formula and is available in shades: Innocent Peach, Flirty Pink, Booming Ruby and Shimmering Bronze.
Laura Mercier has unveils its Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation (£35) which has been created with the aim to mimic the warm ambiance and flattering effect of the glow in a candlelit room. Available in 24 shades, the light reflecting foundation offers a blend of radiant-pearl mica embedded in an ultra-lightweight formula that is buildable in texture and provides medium coverage without masking skin. Refreshing purified water gives the skin a boost of hydration that helps the foundation glide easily onto skin, while a blend of lightweight oils lock in moisture leaving skin balanced and soft. Suitable for sensitive skins, the Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation glides over fine lines, wrinkles and pores, and also contains Vitamin C and E derivatives offering antioxidant protection.
Clarins Instant Glow Spring Make-up Collection for 2016, will be available nationwide from 10 January. The new line-up includes: Limited Edition Natural Glow 5-Colour Eye Shadow Palette (£33), an iridescent rose-bronze compact that includes five wearable eye shadows, from beige to satin brown; Ombre Iridescent (£19), four new shades of cream-to-powder eye shadows (Silver Ivory, Silver Pink, Silver Green and Silver Plum) that contain a blend of soft-focus pigments for pure colour and bamboo powder for a long-lasting result; Multi-Blush (£18.50) in shade Rose, which offers a lightweight cream formula and harnesses floral waxes to protect skin against dehydration; Rouge Eclat Age-Defying Lipstick (£19.50), four new shades of the lipstick in Hot Rose, Pink Blossom, Pink Cherry and Rose Praline; and Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector (£18), offering smooth, glossy and fuller lips in two new shades: Toffee Pink Shimmer and Plum Shimmer.
Benefit Cosmetics has added two new POREfessional products to its collection. The POREfessional Matte Rescue (£21.50) is a new invisible finish mattifying gel that instantly works to overpower shine and absorb excess surface oil, leaving a natural-looking matte finish; while the POREfessional Instant Wipeout Masks (£24.50) are dual-sided products that clean out and smooth out the look of pores around the nose, forehead and chin and help exfoliate and remove pore impurities with the special textured fabric. Both new products will be available nationwide from 30 January 2016.
Budget high street brand W7 has some new additions to their affordable makeup. The new Cleansing Spa Pad (£4.95) offers a combination of non-slip grip, flexible body and a teardrop shape to help remove blackheads and clogged pores; while the new Groovy Curls Eyelash Curlers (£4.95) feature a violet metallic body and soft purple silicone rubber handles designed to help create curly lashes. Also new is the Eyebrow Pencil & Brush in One (£3.95), which offers a super soft retractable brow pencil at one end and a curled brush at the other, available in three shades: Brown, Dark Brown and Blonde; and the Face Shaping Contour Stix (£4.95), three super soft, easily blend-able crayons to contour, highlight and bronze.
