Max Factor has revealed more details of its collaboration with Star Wars, unveiling a number of products that will be available exclusively at Boots.com on 26 November for one day only. The product line-up includes: Max Factor Limited Edition False Lash Effect Star Wars Mascara (£10.99), Max Factor Limited Edition Star Wars Colour Elixir Lipstick in Gold (£7.99) and Max Factor Limited Edition Stars Wars Colour Elixir Lipstick in Berry (£7.99). The full range on 26 November will be available from the early hours until midnight – or until stocks run out.
W7 has a new base in the form of their Genius Feather Light Foundation (£5.95). Developed to bring a long lasting finish, the feather light foundation provides a natural and consistent coverage, leaving a smooth complexion and a dewy glow. Featuring a dropper applicator, the foundation’s creamy texture blends well and lasts up to 12 hours. Available in five colours, from the lightest of beige to tan.
The winners of Hairdressers Journal International’s 2015 British Hairdressing Awards were announced on Monday at an event held at The Grosvenor House in London. The iconic photographic competition invites hairdressing professionals and artistic teams from across the country to create a collection of eight images that showcase their creativity and technical ability. Entrants are able to choose from regional and specialist categories including Afro, Artistic Team, Avant Garde, Men’s, Newcomer and Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year. YSL Beauté is springing into 2016 with their Boho Stones collection, available nationwide from 1 January. The Boho Stones Collector Palettes offer two limited edition palettes: one for the face and one for the eyes. Focusing on the colours of precious stones, each one is contained within captivating cases trimmed with gold. Bourjois has also entered the race to Springtime with their 2016 offerings, available in late January. The new CITY RADIANCE Foundation (£9.99) offers a brightening complex with SPF30 that blocks pollution and UV rays to protect the complexion. Available in six shades and containing a fresh water flower fragrance, the foundation is enriched with coated pigments, which hold throughout the day and boost the natural radiance of the skin. With its anti-pollution screen, CITY RADIANCE helps the possibility of carbon particles settling on the skin while allowing the skin to breathe. Shades include: Rose Ivory, Vanilla, Light Beige, Beige, Golden Beige and Golden Sun. To complement the foundation, the new Radiance Reveal Concealer (£7.99) brightens shadowed areas of the face, moisturises for 24 hours and smoothes the eye contour. Housed in a frosted transparent glass with a metal cap, the concealer is available in three shades, including 01 Ivory, 02 Beige and 03 Dark Beige. Also coming for Spring is Paris Arty Chic, harnessing the history of colour inspired by the latest Parisian trends. Revlon has announced the launch of several new products for 2016. The Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer (£7.99), will be available from January and provides lips with true colour clarity, high gloss shine and a lightweight feel. Formulated with the brand’s high-definition gel formula, the product will be available in nine shades, from pinks and nudes to red and berry hues. March will see the launch of the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor (£8.99), offering a truly velvet matte finish with high definition, moistursing and wax-free formula. Enriched with a scent of mango and vanilla, the new lipstick is available in seven shades, including HD Addiction (pink), HD Devotion (red), HD Passion (coral), HD Obsession (nude brown), HD Seduction, HD Love (dark rose) and HD Flirtation (burgundy). Also available in March is the new Revlon ColorStay Foundation (£12.99), which features both original formulas, but now includes a pump.
