We simply love a good bodypaint here at Warpaint, so when the winners of the Italian Rabarama Skin Art Festival came over our desks, we had to bring them to you. Sponsored by Kryolan Italy, the finals held at the end of August produced some truly beautiful work.
The RSAF was the first Italian contest that was completely dedicated to bodypainting and the brainchild of artist Rabarama together with Kryolan Italy. The theme was ‘Catharsis’ and was open to artists from all over the world. Heats were held in Turin, Monza and Rome, with the finals held against a backdrop of the historical building in Merano.
The finalists, winners of the regional heats competed and were judged by a panel of experts including Rabarama, Martin Miller, Ennio Bettoni, Umberto Nero Di Venere and Ciro Saetti.
The winner of the Festival was Lucia Postacchini, 2nd place: Marzia Bedeschi and 3rd place: Giusy Campolungo. There was also a beginners category, won by Glorianna Oliva.
