Burberry Patchwork, Pattern & Prints Collection


Christmas is definitely on its way with a flurry of festive and wintery collections launching. First up is the Burberry ‘Patchwork, Pattern & Prints’ AW15 fashion collection, the line mimics the design, textures and shades of the camouflage printed ready-to wear-pieces. New products include: limited edition Burberry Runway Palette (£45), featuring three modern eye shades; Burberry Face Contour Effortless Contouring Pen (£25), and Burberry Fresh Glow Highlighting Luminous Pen (£25); Burberry Cashmere Foundation (£35) and Burberry Cashmere Concealer (£25); Kisses Sheer balm-like lipstick (£25), and First Kiss lip gloss (£22.50); Effortless Kohl Eyeliner, in new shades of Storm Green No.06 and Antique Gold No.07; and a limited edition Nail Polish shade in Khaki Green No.205. The new product launches will be available from August and September at, Burberry Beauty Box and selected Burberry stores and retailers worldwide.

Eye Eye Topshop


Next up comes the Eyes Collection from Topshop Beauty. This AW15 collection for eyes, offers a range of dark soft crayons and shimmering shadows. The Smoke Stick (£6.50) has been designed to smudge, smoke and define eyes with a rich, long-lasting formula that is available in four shades: Fool’s Gold (black gold), Treasure Rocks (gunmetal), Dark Crystal (navy) and Magic Garden (deep green). The new Eyeshadow Monos (£12) are multidimensional shadows that shimmer, offering buildable glittered colour in four shades: Pyrite (black gold), Hematite (gunmetal), Thermite (navy) and Oxide (olive green). The collection will be available from October in-stores nationwide.

Glittering Gold from RMK


RMK is going for gold with its limited edition Urban Gold Collection for AW15, available at Selfridges from 27 August. Inspired by the lights of New York City, the collection combines a variety of golden hues across an array of products, including: Gold Impression Illuminator (£33), presented in a geometric block design that delivers golden shimmer; Gold Impression Eyes (£26), a duo eyeshadow set available in six shades, each comprising a cream textured eye base and powder colour with shimmer; Ingenious Liquid Eyeliner EX (£15.50), available in seven shades, two of which are limited edition, from black to metallic green; Ingenious Powder Eyes N (£15), two new limited edition shades, Copper Gold and Shiny Brown Gold; Ingenious Powder Cheeks N (£19), available in two seasonal shades for natural definition and shading; Irresistible Bright Lips (£19.50), available in Brown Beige and Deep Berry; Irresistible Glow Lips (£19.50), in shades Shiny Gold, Coral Beige and Deep Red; Nail Colour EX (£14), available in four shades varying from Nude Beige to Gold Black; and Translucent Face Powder (£33), infused with gold shimmers and refined pearls for a subtle glow.

Shiny Chromes from Laura Mercier


Laura Mercier has taken a metallic tip for their Chrome Extravagance Collection for AW15, available from August. The collection includes the brand new, limited edition Laura Mercier Eye Chromes (£32), a festive palette of shimmery and glitter shadows in four shades: Iced Nickel, Aluminum Grey, Purple Chrome and Blue Steel; as well as two limited edition Laura Mercier Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalms (£19.50) in Blood Cherry and Créme de Cassis. Completing the collection is theLaura Mercier Kajal d’Orient (£22) in Noir Supreme and the Extra Lash Sculpting Mascara (£19.50) in Blank Onyx.

Guerlain is coming up Roses


Guerlain has created the Bloom of Roses Collection for AW15, available from 3 August. New products in the collection include: KissKiss Roselips, a rich tinted lip balm enriched with rose oil; Nailift La Base, to protect nails; and a re-designed Rose Aux Joues blush with ‘Pink Booster’ pigments, available in new shades. The range also features new shades of existing products: KissKiss Lipstick in 370 Lady Pink and 345 Orange Fizz; Gloss d’Enfer in 442 Nahema Smack; Ecrin 6 Couleur Eyeshadow in Beaugrenelle; and Ecrin 4 Couleur Eyeshadow in 19 Les Cendres.

Bright colours for Dolce & Gabbana fall collection


Dolce & Gabbana has introduced its #dglovesfall collection for AW15, inspired by the Dolce & Gabbana runway, and available this month at Harrods. These shades are joined by brown and natural golden hues, alongside hints of brighter and vivid colours such as purple, yellow and blue. New products in the collection include: Eyeshadow Quad in Fall Harvest (£42); Perfect Mono Eyeshadow (£25) in Antique Rose, Leo Brown and Zambia Beige; The Blush Luminous Cheek Colour in Mauve Diamond (£33); Classic Cream Lipstick (£25.50) in Antique Rose, Red Royal and Purple Passion; Intense Colour Gloss (£23.50) in Purple Passion; and Nail Lacquer (£20) in Antique Rose, Red Royal, Jaipur Blue and Tahitian Grey.

New launches from Rodial

There’s 2 new beauty launches from Rodial. First comes Glamobrow (£22), to help create a thick and defined brow. The new product, launching in November, features a retractable tip to easily shape and fill eyebrows, mimicking the look of brow hair for buildable definition. The soft, cream-gel texture is smear-proof with long-wearing hold, available in three shades: Ash Blonde, Ash Brown and Dark Ash Brown.  Next up comes the Rodial’s new Skin Tint + (£45) designed to provide medium coverage, hide all imperfections and give the illusion of ‘barely there’ make-up. Containing a unique blend of amino-peptides that targets multiple signs of ageing and helps to defend against UVA/UVB damage, Skin Tint + is available in four shades; Capri, Hamptons, St Bart’s and Rio.


Wand Magic from Daniel Sandler


Daniel Sandler Cosmetics has launched Intense Volume Pro Mascara (£18.50), available from August online at The flexible and round mascara brush naturally lengthens and separates each and every lash, while the creamy liquid itself is clump-proof, non-flaking and has non-smudging capabilities. Special coated iron oxides immediately cling to lashes, providing an intense deep black while hydrolysed keratin proteins add the finishing touch to the formulation, along with hydrolysed wheat proteins known for their moisturising and conditioning qualities.
