May is big month for Make Up For Ever. The brand is finally returning to the UK high street with a selected Debenhams roll-out, after only being available at PAM and Guru Makeup Emporium for several years. Don’t expect to see the full product range in store, nor will the brand be in every store – but it’s a start. However, we’re even more excited to share the details of the new courses at the Make Up For Ever Academy, based in Paris! With such a multi-talented and high quality brand, you know their teaching ability will be top-notch. Here’s the lowdown on some of the range of training programmes which are available. Click on the name of the courses to see the full curriculum descriptions.
This intensive training programme spans July and August and covers the four main areas of make-up – Beauty, SFX, Stage and Face Painting – to give you a solid grounding and understanding of the basics in each field. There’s also the opportunity for a photo-shoot session with a professional photographer, to help you build your portfolio.
Mornings will be dedicated to theory and demonstration, while afternoons are spent practicing on models with the supervision of lecturers and instructors. The final practice/exam is to realize make-up for a photo-shoot session.
