Louise Young Cosmetics launches Capsule Collection

MUA Louise Young launches her first make-up range following the successful launch of her make-up brush line. Comprising of palettes and compacts, Louise’s capsule collection includes everything from eye palettes and blushers to highlighters and concealers. The idea for the range was inspired by Louise’s own needs during make-up projects. She was keen to carry a small kit that included multitasking products with colours and shades to suit every skin type. With that in mind, Louise designed a collection that can be used alone or, blended, to create bespoke shades to suit all ethnicities, looks and styles. The Essential Eye Palette is a slimline palette contains five matte eyeshadows. The colours can be used as shadows, on brows and as liners, making this the perfect compact to create endless different looks. A real make-up artist favourite and go to product. (£30.00) The Essential Eye Palette Two has three matte and two pearlised shades, (£30.00). The Eye Shadow Trio contains three colours, which work together to create endless diverse looks from vintage to ultra-modern. Available in Studio 54, Azur, Lulu and Festival (£22.00). The Super Concealer Trio is ideal for disguising blemishes and skin discolouration and can be mixed to create the perfect colour for your skin tone. The formula blurs fine lines, pores and imperfections to create a flawless finish to the skin. Includes a brush and is available in Light, Medium, Medium Olive and Dark, (£20.00). The Lip Colour Trio are highly pigmented, long-lasting moisturising lip colours. Available in Pin Up, Enigma, Pout, Allure and Free Bird (£22.00). Alongside the palettes, Louise has also created a range of compact blushers in powder, highlighter and cream for all skin tones, (£13-£14).

Precious About Make-Up holds Hairstyling Course by Award Winning Hairdresser, Joseph Koniak

Precious About Make-Up (PAM), is welcoming award winning hairdresser, Joseph Koniak in to the studio to hold a three day bespoke hairstyling course. The beginners course is carefully designed to cover all the basics of hairstyling on set including; basic trim, blow-drying, the use of heated implements, as well as various styling aids to gain desired effects. The highly acclaimed and sought after Joseph Koniak, has stepped straight out of the world of creative hair to lead this bespoke course. As such a widely acknowledged artist, Joseph has worked on a myriad of film and television sets including; Cinderella, Mama Mia, Batman, Skyfall, Downton Abbey and most recently the new Bond edition, Spectre. During the course, students will be shown how to create the most glamourous of looks from Jessica Rabbit waves to Marilyn Monroe curls as well as various other styling techniques commonly used on set. Joseph, as International Brand Ambassador for Diva Professional Styling, is well acquainted with the latest in hairstyling and subsequently, the top tools that students will be taught how to use to create the looks both quickly and efficiently.
