Lancôme look East
Lancôme has clearly looked to the East for inspiration for the new Miracle Cushion Foundation (£29.50) which launches in February. The South Korean trend of cushion compacts clearly impacted on newly-appointed Lisa Eldridge during her visit there last year. As users press down on to the cushion, a small dose of tinted, water-light fluid is released. While providing the lightness of a fluid, the product has the unifying blur effect of a BB cream and evens and protects the skin from UV. Soft and bouncy, the sponge cushion has thousands of air holes which optimise the formula’s absorption into the sponge. The large chambers are designed to contain a significant amount of fluid, releasing just the right dose for each application, aiming to provide fresh, dewy hydration, weightless coverage and radiance. The formula is concentrated in water and enriched with volatile oils, designed to combine make-up results with skincare benefits. The compact comes with a specifically developed pad applicator. Miracle Cushion is available is six shades, and you can find it on counters in February for £29.50 with refills costing £19.50.
