NARS Cosmetics appoints Andrew Gallimore as UK Make-up Artist Ambassador and launches All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation
NARS Cosmetics has announced the appointment of make-up artist Andrew Gallimore as its new UK Make-up Artist Ambassador. In his role with the brand, Andrew will further reinforce the vision of Founder and Creative Director, François Nars within the UK market. Andrew joins the brand with over a decade of experience, having worked alongside renowned photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier and David Bailey, and publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Dazed & Confused, LOVE, i-D and ELLE. Most recently, he collaborated with British fashion and portrait photographer Rankin to publish his first beauty book, Andrew Gallimore by Rankin, highlighting his dynamic and methodical approach to make-up. Andrew also currently serves as Hunger Magazine’s beauty editor-at-large.
The brand will also launch its All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation next month. The oil-free formula delivers natural looking coverage with a weightless, 16 hour wear. The foundation is ideal for all skin types and tones and is available in 20 global shades. The even tone technology immediately neutralises redness, dullness and discolouration to improve skin’s appearance over time. Clinique creates the Hello Cheekbones collection
Hello Cheekbones are the latest products launching from Clinique. The new range offers two ways to enhance the natural bone structure of the face and includes: Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight, which contains pearlised, light-reflecting pigments to add a luminous sheen; Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour, to create enhanced depth and definition in desired areas; and Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palettes, featuring tri-toned blush powders which deliver rich, lasting, buildable and blendable colour for a naturally fresh flush and emphasised bone structure. The compact can be used separately to colour, contour or highlight or swirled together for a natural looking glow and is available in four shade combinations: Defining Nectars, Defining Roses, Defining Berries and Defining Nudes. £19-£28
KissZing lip crayons from Origins
KissZing is a new collection of lip crayons launching next month from Origins. The crayon is formulated with a blend of natural butters and oils, including meadowfoam seed extract, mango seed butter and jojoba extract to nourish lips. With a subtle combination of vanilla and mint, the barely-there texture provides a subtle hint of tint. Benefit Cosmetics introduces the Roller Lash mascara
Roller Lash is the new super-curling and lifting mascara from Benefit. The patent-pending Hook ‘n’ Roll brush grabs, separates, lifts and curls, while the instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours. Sleek MakeUP reveals new launches
The new i-Quad Eyeshadow & Eyeliner palettes from Sleek MakeUP include three eyeshadows and one gel eyeliner in a range of finishes, from soft mattes to luxe shimmers. Featuring a compact size, the palettes include two applicators and are available in three variations: Limited Edition Midnight Blues (pictured), Medusa’s Kiss (icy, metallic silver and black), and Morrocan Myrrh (neutral tones with beige, taupe and chocolate brown). Clarins has unveiled the new and improved Everlasting Foundation + SPF15, now providing a longer hold for 18 hours by using an invisible microfilm of new generation silicones, 100% natural hectorite powders.
