Elizabeth Arden announces new product launches
Elizabeth Arden has a plethora of make up goodies launching this month. The Flawless Finish Perfectly Satin 24HR Makeup SPF15 is a foundation that contains long wear polymers that safeguard against transfer and fading, providing a satin finish. Plankton extract helps control sebum without drying the skin or clogging the pores, while time released encapsulated spheres monitor and absorb excess oil throughout the day. Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick: Matte is a velvety, matte and pigment-rich colour with moisturising formula. Available in five shades, the lippy has a fade-resist complex that keeps colour true for up to 12 hours. Shades include: Bold Red (matte red), Coral Crush (coral), Nude (yellow-based neutral), Raspberry (fuchsia) and Rose Petal (soft mauve-pink).
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics adds to their Lip Liners collection
The Bobbi Brown lip liner collection is growing with the expansion of the line. The creamy, non-drying lip pencil glides on smoothly and evenly and wears for up to eight hours without feathering. The expanded Lip Pencil collection comprises 19 new and bring-back shades that are designed to suit any lip look. Each liner comes with a sharpener for precise application. (£16)
Makeup Revolution introduces The One Fluid Blush
The One Fluid Blush from Makeup Revolution is an easy to blend creamy liquid blush, providing a long lasting and rich cheek colour with a refined matte finish. Suitable for all skin tones, the blush is available in five shades including: Pink Sea, Pink Dew, Desire, Malibu Ocean and Rush Me. (£3)
Glow Up Highlighter new from Ellis Faas
The Glow Up Highlighter is the latest launch from Dutch make up brand Ellis Faas, with finely milled particles that provide a radiant flow and soft focus shimmer. Micronisation Technology leaves skin smooth while reflective pearls emphasise bone structure. The product contains vitamin E to help protect the skin and is available in three shades. No parabens and oils are used in the product, and it’s not tested on animals. The highlighter is designed to slot into its compact case with built in mirror, sold separately. £8 (compact case) & £18 (highlighter)
New temporary tattoo collection from PAPERSELF
Better know for their paper art for eyelashes, PAPERSELF has announced the launch of Tattoo Me, a new line of temporary tattoos (£5). The collection is inspired by 18th century classic design, transferring vintage illustrations into accessories for the skin. Since launching in 2009, PAPERSELF has collaborated with The Victoria and Albert Museum, Bourjois and Shu Uemura, as well as being worn by celebrities such as Rihanna, Anne Hathaway and Kelly Osbourne. Lashes have been featured in The Hunger Games 1 and 2 on leading actresses Elizabeth Banks and Jennifer Laurence.
Limited edition blush palette from Burberry
Burberry’s limited edition blush palette was inspired by the hand-painted illustrations featured on the Burberry Prorsum SS15 catwalk collection. The words ‘Rain or Shine’, as featured on Prorsum SS15 Pre Collection ready-to-wear and accessories, are embossed in the powder. Pink azalea and bright coral red shades sit alongside a nude-coloured illustration of a cloud on a hydrangea pink background. The shades blend together to highlight skin with the signature Burberry glow. The ‘Rain or Shine’ illustration also features on the palette’s outer transparent sleeve.
