Scotch on the Rocks from Bobbi Brown

Bobbi’s Scotch on the Rocks Collection includes products inspired by the legendary American actress Lauren Bacall.  The look starts with skin, which has the subtlest warmed-by-the-fireside glow, warm matte browns, golden metallic nudes and deep ambers for a rich, sultry effect and for lips soft beige gold to bold Bordeaux.  The Warm Glow Eye Palette features nine shades of soft nudes, gilded golds and scotch-inspired browns.  The Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (£18) is long-wearing, water-resistant and easy to apply; now in a rich golden brown it adds a touch of warmth to any winter eye look.  The new, limited edition Highlight Powder (£34) has a silky, lightweight texture and mirror-like, reflective pearls leave skin with a subtle glow.  The Lips (£22) are covered with Christmas classics in reds and rich nudes and the red gloss gives lips a high-shine look.  The Glitter Lip Gloss (£18.50) can be worn on its own or on top of Lip Color.  The High Shimmer Lip Gloss (£18.50) is a combination of soft pink shimmer and non-stick shine for a sweet lip look that is brilliantly radiant.

Chantecaille’s SS15 make-up collection (£27-£150) embodies geometric glaciers from around the world and their natural colour play between light and shadow.  The Glacier Eye Shade Trio is the focus of the collection, featuring limited edition shades that reflect the landscape of the arctic and the hues of the ice and earth.  Micronised pigments boost colour pureness and formula adherence while spherical polymer creates a smooth, even finish.  Shades include Iceberg (white gold pearl), Polar Light (taupe) and Arctic Dusk (lilac grey).  5% of proceeds from the trip will be donated to the National Resources Defense Council.  Also in the collection is the Galactic Lip Shine, a conditioning lip gloss, serum hybrid infused with a range of healing fruit extracts in two shades: Polaris (clear pearl) and Aurora (translucent fuchsia); and Hydra Chic lipstick that provides lasting hydration with six hours of colour wear.  Shades include Saxifrage (bright magenta) and Arctic Rose (pearlescent blush).  The brand has also unveiled Rose de Mai Face Oil, the latest addition to the Rose de Mai collection.  Brightening and anti-ageing, the formula pairs a nourishing texture with the healing properties of Rose de Mai to regenerate, nourish and restructure skin.

Tilbury at Fenwicks

Charlotte Tilbury has announced a collaboration with Fenwicks, becoming the first brand ever to open the windows on Bond Street.  As part of the launch, Charlotte is launching a new concept: the Backstage Beauty Booth, available from 9th November.  In-store, users can experience Charlotte Tilbury’s skincare products: Charlotte’s Magic Cream and Wonderglow as well as Matte Revolution in Bond Girl during a makeover.  The Backstage Beauty Booth will highlight a different aspect of the brand each month.  This Christmas, the Beauty Booth will be showcasing Charlotte’s range of cosmetics and skincare.  On 19th November, Charlotte is appearing at the Beauty Booth to celebrate the collaboration, where she will meet customers and offer Tilbury Transformation makeovers and giveaways.  The full Charlotte Tilbury counter will be in Fenwick’s new Beauty Hall from March 2015.

MAC Cosmetics reveals Miley Cyrus as the new face of Viva Glam

The latest MAC Collaboration is with American singer, actress, and songwriter Miley Cyrus who is the new face of its Viva Glam collection.  Miley took to Twitter to announce that she is fronting her first campaign with the make-up brand.  The new collection is due to launch in early 2015 and will include a hot pink amplified Lipstick (£14.50) and a matching Lipglass (£15.50) with sparkling pearl.  Each sale from the Viva Glam collection goes towards helping women and children everywhere affected by HIV/Aids.

Dolce & Gabbana to launch new make-up

Due out at the end of the month is the Dolce & Gabbana Make Up Collector’s Edition (£28-£60).  This collection features limited editions of The Bronzer and The Shine Lipstick in the new Real Red shade.  The Ancient Coin is imprinted into the texture of The Bronzer, representing the brand’s heritage of Ancient Sicily and Greek culture.

MakeUp Eraser launches in the UK

US-based beauty product Make Up Eraser (£15.99) will launch into the UK this month, distributed by Marketing Services.  Originally launched in 2012, MakeUp Eraser removes waterproof mascara and eyeliner with water alone and has already sold more than a million units in the US.
Revlon partners with tattoo artist to launch Skinny Liner

Revlon has announced the launch of Skinny Liner (£7.99).  The new eyeliner features a precision point tip capable of sketching ultra-fine lines.  The brand has partnered up with tattoo artist Jess Simpson to create a series of tattoo designs using the Skinny liquid liner.  Designs created include: Links of Love, Unlocked Love and On the Wings of Love (pictured above).


Rodial announces Daisy Lowe as the face of its debut contouring line

YouTuber extraordinaire Tanya Burr is branching out into false lashes with the announcement of her debut false eyelash collection (£5.49), adding to her existing beauty line.  Containing a range of five strip lashes and individual combo lashes, they include: Pretty Lady Lashes, adding natural volume for an everyday look; Date Night Lashes, suitable for the evening; Girls Night Out Lashes, voluminous, feline lashes; Bambi Eyes Lashes, doll-like-lashes; and Individual.

Cherry Blooms fibrelash mascara arrives in the UK

The Cherry Blooms 3-step fibrelash mascara (£39) will arrive in the UK this month.  Originating in Australia, the product offers the fastest way to get 300% thicker and longer lashes.  The product is all natural and is made from high grade beeswax to aid fibre grip with no flaking.  Fibres are black as opposed to white and they can layer up for a dramatic look by enhancing natural lashes.  A pack will last four months with daily usage and needs no glue or heat.
