shu uemura has announced a collaboration with Choupette Lagerfeld (also known as Shupette), Karl Lagerfeld’s pet cat. The seasonal collection, Shupette by Karl Lagerfeld for shu uemura, will be launched this autumn with further details to be announced later in the year.

Clarins launches Limited Edition 3-Dot Liner

Following the success of the original 3-Dot Liner, Clarins has introduced a limited edition brown shade will follow for Autumn 2014.  The formula contains growth-stimulating ingredients that condition the lashes when weaved between them. The liner features a three point sponge applicator that creates precise lines.  Also new are the Ombre Matte Cream-to-Powder Eyeshadows, launching in August.  The cream-to-powder formula provides the smoothing and comforting effects of a cream, in addition to the quality and longevity of a powder.  The formula is lightweight and applies with a matte finish (£19).

Max Factor UK reveals Skin Luminizer Foundation

Skin Luminizer Foundation (£12.99) from Max Factor UK will be available from September.  The foundation has been created to offer the appearance of ‘barely there’ make-up, and uses a formula of skin luminizers to brighten skin tone and provide an instant glow.  Following research from Procter & Gamble, the foundation is designed to provide enough coverage to hide imperfections while leaving the skin with a luminous effect.  The formula also offers skincare benefits such as hydration through vitamins B3 and E.  The foundation comes in six shades: Light Ivory, Warm Almond, Natural, Beige, Golden and Bronze.
