Next month Joan Collins Timeless Beauty extends the range to include five new launches.  Divine Lips in Marilyn (£18) is a warm nude with add hyaluronic acid for moisture and comfort and the Glorious Gloss has a new shade in the shape of Piper (£18), a dusky pink with a hint of pearlescence.  Two new nail shades have also been developed to match (£13).  The Feature Finish Eye & Brow Definition Kit (£25) is brand new and created as a multipurpose quad containing three powders and wax, brush and tweezers.  The Summer Kiss Compact Duo (£34) that combines a Divine Lips lipstick in Evelyn or Marilyn and a shimmering bronzing powder with added SPF.

Released this week by Terry de Gunzburg is the autumn collection from her signature range, By Terry.  Available from September, the make-up is a capsule collection alongside her two fragrance launches, Rose Infernale.  Centre piece is the rose-infused Rose de Rose compact (£72), a trio of matt and shimmer blush and highlighter.  The self-regulating photo-luminescent polymers, micro blended mineral pigments and HD light reflective correctors lift and tone down the complexion.  The Baume de Rose lip balms (£35) are packed full of moisturising and hydrating ingredients like Vitamin E and ceramides so the balm just melts into the lips.  The innovative Eye Powder Kajal (£29) is a highly pigmented powder eyeliner with a felt tip applicator that gives the precision of gel and is particularly effective on the waterline.

True Radiance Foundation with SPF15 from Clarins


Available from September, Clarins has created their latest foundation, True Radiance with SPF 15.  Providing skincare benefits as well as giving full coverage and a glowing finish, the formula promises to hydrate the skin for 24 hours, limits pollution from settling on the skin and purifies the skin from free radicals.  Available in 10 shades: Porcelain, Ivory, Nude, Beige, Sand, Wheat, Honey, Amber, Chestnut and Cappuccino (£27).

New formula for Rimmel’s Lasting Finish 25 HR foundation


On 6th August Rimmel London is to relaunch its Lasting Finish 25 HR foundation (£7.99).  The new formula will contain comfort serum for comfortable wear and hydrating properties, whilst SPF20 acts as a barrier to protect the skin from the sun.  The hard-wearing foundation is sweat, heat, humidity and transfer proof.

L’Oréal acquires NYX Cosmetics

L’Oréal has announced its acquisition of NYX Cosmetics.  The brand will continue to operate from its Los Angeles headquarters under the current leadership team.  NYX Cosmetics was established in 1999 by Toni Co, who wanted to create a line of high quality, on-trend colour cosmetics.

The new Glacier Gloss collection from Beauty UK is coming soon.  Available in 10 shades, the line aims to provide a high shine finish, while the soft texture and wand make for easy application.

Paul & Joe Beauté unveils Autumn Cinema Collection


Autumn collections are starting to appear.  Paul & Joe Beauté have revealed this week details of their Autumn Cinema Collection.  The limited edition range of Eye Colour Trip Refills (£23) and Limited Edition Compact Cases (£7) is inspired by Paul & Joe fashion prints.  The gentle and conditioning powder formula define the eyes with a lustrous finish.  The full pigment shadows are smooth to apply and crease free.
