Have you got the talent to create a realistic film and TV make-up look? Warpaint is happy to announce its collaboration with UMAe to host the definitive make-up competition for film and TV pros.
Whether you’re still a student or have graduated in the last two years, this is the opportunity for you to showcase your skills. With the theme designed by top UK MUA Sian Richards and supported by London Brush Company, this competition recreates the atmosphere of an accurate make-up call on a movie or television set.
The theme for the competition is Napoleonic Wars and contestants are required to design and make-up a military or naval character who has been in battle. This character can be male or female and a suitable costume is to be sourced.
UMAe is the UK’s go-to show for all pro MUAs. Now in its second year, it has been supported and attended by some of the biggest and best stars of the industry – Lois Burwell, Greg Cannom, Wally Sneiderman, Chris Tucker, Kenny Myers, Mark Coulier, Sian Richards, Kristyan Mallet and Mark English – along with Oscar nominee Robin Matthews.
The show takes place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, N1, with the competition occurring on Sunday 6th.
